Chapter 9.
Ella's point of view

"So, schools starting up again soon. Are you excited for the next semester?" My mum asked me, her back was facing me while she continued to make her tea. I huffed out and leaned my head onto the counter shaking my head. School, I don't hate school. I haven't ever had a bad encounter with school, I'm just over it.

"No. I just want the rest of this year to zoom by, I want to have summer break." I complained as she slid over a tea, she had made for me as well. I smiled at her saying thanks before blowing onto the tea and sipping it letting the warm water fill my body.

"Yes, but when summer break comes around that means school is over for good. No more homework, early mornings and bitches." She pointed out and I let out a laugh. "Are you really wishing for it to zoom by?" She asked leaning on the sink now.

"Maybe not zoom. I do like school, you know that." I answered.

"I know you do sweetie." She smiled at me before turning her attention to the loud footsteps walking down the stairs behind us. My father soon came into view walking over to mum quickly giving her a kiss before reaching behind her for the hot water to make himself a tea. "Morning." Mum said to her husband.

My father was dressed in a casual top and jeans. He had no shoes on but wore old ripped socks that I'm sure mum has already planned on tossing out. He didn't turn around but replied to her with a quick 'good morning honey'. I quickly finished off my drink before jumping up and tossing it into the dish washer.

I walked away from my parents just as they began their conversation about work. I feel like that's all they really talk about, it gets boring fast. Once I was in my bedroom I put on a pair of leggings and just a plain white shirt. I don't think I had much on for today, which was nice.

Once I was changed, I laid on my back on my bed and scrolled on my phone. I had a few messages, one from my friend Phoebe and the other was just an email from my school informing us we started normal times on the Monday. I quickly opened Phoebe's message and looked over it.

Phoebe:
What are you doing today? I haven't caught up with you in ages!

I sighed as I read what she sent to me, Phoebe is one of my best friends and honestly, she is one of my only friends along with Daisy. But Daisy is in America with her family for a month she gets back in two weeks. Which is bad I guess because she misses out on some of the school work, we will be given.

Ella:
I'm free. What did you want to do?

After I had clicked send, I tossed my phone on charge quickly and changed into some jeans instead of having leggings on. I ran my fingers through my hair before grabbing the brush and using that instead knowing my knots weren't coming out with my fingers.

Phoebe:
I'll be over in 10. Shopping?

I smiled and quickly typed a short 'okay' back before grabbing some socks and shoes. I haven't been shopping in a while. I wonder what it would be like shopping with Harry. He would only want to get suits and ties. He never wears casual and we he does it's a surprise for us all.

Wait. Harry. I haven't heard from him in a while, it's been what almost a week? But I also need to honestly stop thinking about Harry! I don't like Harry I can't like Harry but, I really like Harry.

Stupid fucking idiot. What am I thinking? Liking someone who is so much older. It's hot I'll admit, I never realized I had some daddy issues in me. Kind of gross but I don't mind. If he doesn't go too far with it.
