The fire thing Fang did was run to her room after Toffee walked back into the extra room. She looked through her things and got clothes for both of them Opal and herself.
"Where are we going?" Opal asked as Fang tossed her a long blue wig.
"We're going to an old kingdom called Utter-"
Opal laughed at the name.
"I know it sounds funny, but it's the best choice for our first stop. The Utter Kingdom has so many people nobody will even notice we snuck in there!" Fang zipped her book bag and stood up. She was holding a wig, short black hair.
"Why do we need wigs then if nobody will notice us?" Opal asked.
"I don't wanna get caught," Fang said. "At least you. If someone sees me I don't know they'll do, but if they see you they're going to bring you back home. I got two wigs for you, in case one gets destroyed or something," Fang said. "And I know some people from there, the Utter Kingdom."
Opal sighed. "Who do you know?"
"I know the... almost-to-be princess. "She's kinda like me, her mom had another baby and decided to choose the newest baby to be the queen. So the princess has been a princess for years, she's 18 now. Her name is Princess Dark Moon," Fang said.
"Dang, so she would've been a queen on her birthday," Opal said. "Are you sure we should bother her on such a bad time?"
"Where else will we go?" Fang asked. "We can't buy a house or anything."
Opal shrugged. "It's just- what would the princess do for us?"
"I know her, she has to at least let us stay in her castle for a night or two. Otherwise she's a bitch," Fang tossed Opal the other wig. "How put one on."
Opal choose the black one.

The portal closed behind them, and they found themselves in a kingdom Fang did not recognize.
"This is it?" Opal asked.
"N-no! Last time I was here it was much more... colorful," Fang said.
Opal sighed and looked up at the abandon towers that stood above the two. Last time Fang was here, it was full of light and love. But that was three years ago, something has happened. Fang ran into a building and looked inside. "Hello? Anyone in here!"
"I don't think anyone's here," Opal said, looking through a smashed window. "It's so gray and lonely."
Suddenly a loud CRACK seemed to shake all the buildings. Opal grabbed Fang and shoved her inside another building.
"What was that?" Fang asked, but Opal covered her mouth. Many moments passed, and Opal peeked out the window with Fang. In the distance Opal saw a bunch of figures marching down in the middle of the road. Fang watched as they got closer, and realized some of the figures went in and out of the buildings.
"We gotta go," Opal grabbed my hand and ran to the back of the empty building. "This city is cursed."
"Who are those people?" I asked.
"Those aren't people!" Opal said, then calmed herself down.
Fang took out her dimensional scissors and cut the air, but it didn't work.
"We need to get out of this building and use the scissors outside. This building had a spell put on it and we need to leave," Opal said.
Fang and Opal left the building and cut the air, but the portal was very small. Fang stuck her head through the portal, she didn't care where the portal led to, she just wanted to leave. Opal pushed Fang through the portal and Opal stuck her head through the portal. Fang grabbed her and pulled her through, and they both fell on the ground.
Fang looked through the portal, and the last thing she saw, in the city, was a dark figure staring at her.

Opal opened her eyes and looked around. "You brought us to a damn party," Opal said.
It took a little while for Fang to realize the loud music and people dancing around her. Fang got up and looked around. Many different people from different dimensions were all dancing and having a great time. They were laughing and talking. Fang looked down at herself, she was wearing a long black skirt and a pink shirt. She guessed she looked okay for a party.
Opal fixed herself and looked around. "I haven't been to a party in forever," Opal said.
"I go here a lot with Vixen," Fang said.
Opal laughed. "You mean your boyfriend?"
The two laughed, and for some reason, Fang felt... happy. Her and Opal had never laughed in years, because if they did they were worried that someone would hear Opal. Fang had never felt like this sense they were 10.
"He's not my boyfriend..." Fang said, trying not to break the moment. "But we've been talking lately."
Opal giggled and looked around. "Maybe he's here!"
"I don't think so. He told me he hates this place," Fang said.
"Well, maybe there's some other guy?" Opal said.
Fang shrugged and remembered the time Vixen and her spent time at our last party...

I danced and danced, Vixen was getting us drinks.... drinks. At least I thought he was.
This was all about a month ago.
Vixen came back with our drinks and took my hand and brought me to the little coulda you can sit on on the side of the room. We sat down and talked for four hours. He talked about his kingdom and I talked about mine.
"My dad is like a... an alligator?" I said.
Vixen laughed and took another sip of his drink and looked deep into my eyes and smiled. "So, are your parents looking at who they want you to marry yet?" Vixen asked.
"Well... this one guy Tom-"
"Tom?! You mean the guy with three eyes?" Vixen rolled his eyes. "Wow, Tom is the worst guy to marry. If he ran a Kingdom he would burn it down from frustration."
I sighed and leaned my hand on my chin. "But that doesn't mean I can look at someone else."
Vixen smiled and looked away.
That was the best night of Fang's life. That night she ran to her castle and remembered what she said to her dad:
Fang ran down the hall, she hasn't been this happy since the royal ball. "Dad!" She called.
Toffee walked out of one of the rooms and smiled. "Hello, darling. How was the party?" Toffee asked in his usual sweet and soft voice.
"It's Vixen," I said.
Toffee cranked his neck and showed confusion. "What about Vixen? You seem happy, did he ask you out?"
"Well, not really. But I think he will!" I said.
Toffee smiled and ruffled my hair. "My sunflower, growing up."
"Let's look around," Opal said and took Fang's hand, taking Fang out of her daydreaming. Fang had forgot what Opal was talking about.
After an hour at being in the party, Opal and Fang met two girls named Sunset and Sunrise, twins.
"So which one is going to be the queen?" Opal asked.
The twins looked at each other and sighed. "Our older sister... she took over the kingdom and cursed it. Her name is Dark Moon."
Fang and Opal exchanged looks.
"She was upset our mother had us and made us older with a special potion," Sunset said.
"I was supposed to be the queen," Sunrise said. "And Dark Moon tried to kill me. So we left the kingdom and... well... we never looked back."
"It's abandon!" Fang shouted, catching some people's attention. "It's cursed."
Sunrise sighed. The two sisters were basically two glowing lights in the shape of a female body. Sunrise was a bright yellow-orange and Sunset was a red-purple.
"We have to go back," Sunset said.
"What? We can't do that! You heard goat girl and alligator! The kingdom is cursed!" Sunset stood up from the table so fast her chair flipped backwards. "This is all on Mother! If she hadn't almost made you Queen!"
Sunrise rolled her eyes. "It's not like I wanted to be! She choose me because I'm not irresponsible like you!"
"I'm totally responsible!" Sunset snapped. "For example, I'm trying to keep us safe by not going back to the kingdom."
Fang took a deep breath, regretting bringing up the conversation. Now the almost-future-queen-of-Utter Kingdom and her sister were fighting, which sent many glances toward Fang and Opal and the sisters.
"We have to go. We can't have too much attention to us," Opal grabbed Fang's hand and brought her to the center of the platform.
"What? But we can't leave them fighting!" Fang said.
"Look at how many people they've got staring at them. At least one will figure out its me, Opal," Opal said.
Fang nodded, understanding what Opal meant. Fang took out her scissors, when a familiar voice caught her attention. Fang turned around and saw Vixen. Fang nearly dropped the scissors as thousands of questions ran through his head.
Why is he here?
He told me he'd invite me to the next party he was going to.
Didn't he tell me he hates this place?
Who is he with?
Fang speed walked to him, but made a quick stop to see that he was talking to another girl. Her heart sank as she realized how prettier she was than Fang. She had chocolate colored skin and the longest beautiful hair Fang has ever seen. Her eyes were a dark red, and two fangs hung from her lips. She was a vampire. Fang could easily tell.
Opal took Fang's hand. "She's probably just a friend."
"Yeah, a friend," Fang said, and left.
