"What color do you like? How long do you want the dress to be, short or long? Would you like a terra or no? What makeup do you want to wear?"
Star groaned, trying to process all the questions her fashion designer was throwing at her. "Blue... mid-length.... yes... mascara..."
"Perfect!" The women said and ran to a sewing machine.
Star laid on her bed and thought about this new life for a second. She remembered everything, defeating Toffee and now she was stuck inside of the wand. How she turned into a butterfly and killed him with her wand. How Marco saved her from the dungeon and how Moon hid Star for awhile. It all came back last night, in the longest dream Star ever had.
"Done!" The women said and placed a blue dress on Star's bed. "I'll give you some time to change."
As soon as the women left Star jumped off her bed and ran to the window. Outside there was a beautiful village. People were outside selling corn and others were strolling around. It almost looked like Fang's kingdom.
Star sighed and walked to her dress and struggled to put it on. Star looked in the full length mirror. Her hair was a mess, and she was too tired to brush all that hair. Her long blue dress touched the top of her knees, little white drapes wrapped around the dress that sparkled.
"Are you done in there?" The women called.
"Yeah..." Star said.
The women barged in and kept saying how beautiful Star was. After a while, Star picked out some jewelry and the women put on her makeup.
"Done!" The women said.
Star turned to look in the mirror, she would gasp if she wasn't so focused on the new person she was. Star forced a smile. "I love it!"
"Perfect! The party will be in five hours. You should go help your mom with the decorticating."
Star walked out of her room and to the Ball Room. Where Moon was with Marco and... Jackie. Star walked to her mom first, Marco and Jackie were across the room.
"Star! There you are! You look wonderful," Moon said.
"Thanks mom," Star said quickly. "So, why is she here?" Star said, pointing to Jackie.
"Why, do you not like her? She seemed cool to me," Moon said.
"I just can't stand to watch them be together all night!" Star said. She remembered that night at the concert Marco and Jackie kissed, and how horrible Marco made her feel.
"Oh, I get it," Moon said. "You feel like the third wheel! I'm sure you'll find a boy tonight!"
"Wait wa- no! Mom! That's not why-"
"There are plenty of boys out there! When I was your age, I couldn't even decide which boy I liked!" Moon said.
"And you chose Toffee- I mean...!" Star clamped her hand over her mouth.
"Star, what are you talking about? I chose River!" Moon said.
"R-River! That's what I meant!" Star said and laughed nervously. "So where's that other friend you said, the pony girl...?"
"Star you're acting weird," Moon said. "Are you feeling sick? Should we cancel the party?"
"No! No, I'm just, uh, so tired. I was up allll night," Star said. It was true, she was up all night figuring out who she was and how Opal wasn't real, Pony Head took her place.
"Well how about you take a nap? Or you and your friends could take a walk around the village," Moon said.
"Uh, okay?" Star said. She walked over to Marco first, hoping to avoid Jackie for a little bit. "H-hey Marco!"
"Oh, hey Star!" Marco said as he placed a table cloth of a table. "You look beau- I mean... you look nice!" Marco glanced at Jackie and sighed.
Star looked over at her, she was wearing she same thing she wears everyday. Why wasn't she wearing something fancy like a normal person. Star shrugged it off, but she could tell Marco wished Jackie would wear something sexier.
"So Marco, remember when I- killed Toffee?" Star asked, only to receive a cold look from Marco. "Do you think he's really dead?"
Marco sighed. "We saw him get crushed! And he hasn't come back for a year, so I'm pretty sure he's dead."
Dead.
The word stung Star's heart. Even though she knew in this world, Toffee wasn't her father anymore, but she still felt guilty. Toffee wasn't so evil, at least after he married Moon. But Star knew if she told anybody people would think she's insane.
"Star are you okay?" Marco asked.
"Yeah! I'm perfectly fine!" Star said. "I'm just... going to my room really quick," Star ran to her room and slammed it behind her. She locked the door and ran to her magic book of spells, a new one she made.
Star ripped out ten pieces of paper from the book and started writing.Page 1
I was not born as Star Butterfly, I was born as Fang Butterfly, daughter of Toffee. I made another world, River Johansen, my new father, made me use my power to make this world. Toffee and Johansen switched places, now he's married to my mother Queen Moon.
This sounds all crazy. But it's true. Apparently one in every... I can't remember... but it's very rare for someone to have the power to switch the universe.
Even though I'm happier than I was before, and I'm not some freaky monster, I'm not sure why this life is any better than my old one. At least I'm not a run-away.
But now Opal isn't here. She's replaced by Pony Head. I remember hanging out with Pony Head. I also remember dating Tom, a hot headed demon. Tom was in my other life, but I hated him. What was I thinking, dating Tom?Suddenly there was a knock at Star's door. Star stuffed the pages under the bed and ran to the door.
"Who is it?" Star asked.
Silence. Star leaned her ear against the door, and heard breathing.
Star opened the door, nobody was there. She looked on the ground and saw a piece of paper. Star picked it up and read it. It was the page she just wrote in.

A lot of people showed up at the party, and for some reason Jackie was talking non-stop to Star. Jackie was talking, but Star wasn't listening. She was focusing on Tom talking to Marco in the background.
Music blasted in Star's ears, everyone was having fun but her. She couldn't stop thinking of that piece of paper someone left in front of her door. How did someone get that? She wrote it only seconds before someone else had it.
"Star are you even listening?" Jackie asked.
"Oh-yeah I am," Star said.
"What did I just say?" Jackie asked.
"I- um..." Star drifted off. "I'm not sure..."
"So you weren't listening," Jackie said. "This isn't like you Star, is something wrong?"
"Nothing! I'm just tired," Star felt like she's been saying that all day. Then she suddenly Star got up and ran to her room. She grabbed the piece of paper and the note she wrote, under her bed. Star reading them over and over, it was the same handwriting and everything. The same spacing and font. It scared Star.
"Star," a voice said.
Star screamed and turned around. But nobody was there. "Whose there?!"
"Star."
Star took out her wand and pointed it around her dark room.
"Put the wand down, Star."
"No! Where and who are you?" Star snapped.
"You can't see me, because the time I'm from, this castle isn't here anymore. Come outside."
Star took a deep breath and walked outside through the empty part of the castle. "Okay, where are you?"
The night was cold and chilling. Star rubbed her arms and looked around.
"Turn around."
Star turned around and almost dropped her wand. In front of her stood Fang and herself, but older versions. They were dressed in warrior clothing.
"You've ruined time," Older Fang said. "You're the only one that can fix it."
"I ruined it? I fixed it!" Star snapped.
"No, you didn't," older Star said. "You've mixed up our times. You're not actually Star, your imagine is an illusion. You're still Fang. Now, Star is in your world and looks like you. Thanks to you switching the universes, the times will corrupt until they eventually explode and one is saved."
"What does that mean?" Star asked.
"It means every universe will die but one. And neither of us know which one that is."
Star growled ad aimed her wand that them. "Who are you to tell me that I ruined the universes? I'm finally happy with who I am! I'm a hero for god sake here! I'd rather be this than a run-away!"
"Star! You don't understand!" Older Fang said. "You can fix this, just go back to your universe."
"I won't, and I don't even know how," Star said. Then she aimed the wand at them again. "Why don't you go back to your time now, or I'll blast you to it!"
"This is why I want you back in your own universe!" Older Star cried. "Because you're nothing like the young Star. Star is happy and energetic, you're to exact opposite! Do you really think that was Johansen you meet in the corn field in your universe?"
"Y-yes. It was River Johansen," Star said. "I'm sure of it."
"It is River Johansen but then it was Ludo. He killed Johansen, using a magical power and wore his skin. Ludo has more power in this universe than in the other. Ludo was killed by Toffee in your universe," Older Fang said.
"I don't care! I'm happy now-"
"You aren't happy! And you're going to regret not listening to us," older Star said.
"Leave my kingdom!" Star snapped.
Soon, the two left.
