"Star where have you been?" Moon asked, fixing Star's terra. "Your speech is soon."
Star sighed, she didn't know anything about the speech. "Speech? Mom I didn't even write it down!"
"Oh don't worry Star! All you have to do is just say how your defeated Toffee and the party will continue. And remember to thank everyone for coming!" Moon said.
"Mom you can't just throw a speech at me! You remember the last speech I made!" Star cried.
"It wasn't a speech it was a song, and you didn't sing it. And don't worry, everyone has forgotten about that," Moon said.
Star groaned and rubbed her arms. She was just minutes away from giving her speech. And yet nothing has popped up in her head.
"Hey Star!" Marco said, sitting down next to her. "Are you ready for your big speech?"
Star suddenly wondered who Marco was in her universe. Was he Tom? No, Tom was Tom. Or wait, Marco was Vixen. Marco and Vixen were two people Star was in love with and they didn't like her back.
"Yeah I'm ready. I just need to go and get something," Star said, and once again left the ball room. She ran down the hall, looking for Johansen. Star wondered if he remembered about the other universe.
Finally Star found him.
"River," Star said.
River turned around. "Star! What are you doing here, shouldn't be at the party?"
"Shouldn't you be in Fang's universe?" Star asked.
"Fang's universe? Who is... Fang?" River asked.
"Fang! Me! Toffee's daughter!" Star said.
"Star, you're not Toffee's daughter. You're my daughter," River said.
"No! Fang is Toffee's daughter!" Star cried. "Is she really gone?"
"Hm, I never knew Toffee had a daughter. Well then whose the mother?" River asked.
Star was about the say Moon, when a voice drowned her out.
"I am."
Star turned around and saw older Fang.
"I'm the mother," older Fang said. She knew she had to pretend she hated Toffee, or River would be mad. "Toffee was a horrible father. I regret everything."
"Who are you exactly?" River asked.
"I'm- Opal," Older Fang said. "Call me Queen Opal."
"Well okay, pleased to meet you Queen Opal," River said.
"Uh, I'd like to speak with this Queen Opal for a minute!" Star said and pushed Older Fang aside. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!"
"Ruining your life until you go back to yours," older Fang said. "Your parents will see me as trustworthy after I tell them how much I hate Toffee. I'll tell them bad things about the real you, Fang. And I'm pretty sure you already feel terrible about kill our father!"
"River is my father now! Not Toffee, now I have a speech to make," Star stormed back into the Ball Room right on time.
"Star! Hurry get to the platform and begin your speech," Moon said, dragging Star to the stage.
"Mom! I can't!" Star cried. "I don't even know what to say!"
"You'll know what to say when the time comes," Moon said. "I had to make speeches so many times. Your generation doesn't understand."
"I'm happy I don't understand," Star said, stepping on the platform stairs, she stopped at the middle of the platform and let Moon grab everyone's attention.
All eyes were on Star, and in the distance Star saw Marco give her a thumbs up. Star took a deep breath, thinking of what her first sentence would be.
"So, we all know a year from now, Toffee was defeated," Star said.
The whole crowd cheered and jumped in the air.
"Well..." Star couldn't think of anything else to say, what else could she say? The crowd was waiting after they cheered, and Star left them hanging. Her mind went blank. So she said, "any questions?"
"How did you kill Toffee?" A witch in the front asked.
"With my wand," Star said.
"Did anyone help you?" A bunny lady asked.
"Uh, I'm not sure. I just blasted him," Star said.
"Did Toffee die right after you blasted him with your wand?" A princess asked.
"No, um, something fell on him," Star said.
For about twenty minutes later Star answered questions about how she killed Toffee and soon she realized, she didn't kill Toffee. Ludo did. He was the one who crushed him to death. This party shouldn't be for her, it should be for Ludo. Star knew she couldn't fix that, so for the rest of the night she partied for Ludo and not herself."Going to sleep already?" Pony Head asked.
"Yeah, it's been a long night," Star said.
"Oh come on Star! This might be the best night of our lives! A year ago you killed Toffee and saved us! We have to go celebrate some more," Pony Head said.
Star thought about it. "Well, okay I guess so."
"Yay! Now use those scissors and let's go!" Pony Head said.
Star took out her Scissors and cut into the air. They both went through the portal, but they weren't where they wanted to go.
"Star, where the heck did you bring us? It looks like some old abandoned city," Pony Head said.
"I don't know, I thought I brought us to a partying place," Star said.
Star looked around and realized where she was, she was in Utter Kingdom. Dark Moon's kingdom.
"We have to explore this place! It looks so creepy!" Pony said.
"This isn't a safe place to be," Star said. "It's cursed."
Pony flew around and into one of the building. "Yo B-fly! Come check this out!"
Star ran into the building and looked around. It was a broke piece from the castle. There was a huge throne, and sitting on it was... Toffee's skeleton.
"What was Toffee doing here? Didn't you kill him?" Pony asked. "Star, what's going on?"
"I- I don't know! I don't know why his Skeleton is here! I didn't kill him here, I killed him in Mewni!" Star cried.
"Well his skeleton shouldn't be here!" Pony said.
"I moved it," a voice said.
Star turned around and saw the so called Queen Opal.
"Arg! Why won't you leave me alone?!" Star snapped.
"Who are you?" Pony threatened as she flew inches from Queen Opal's face.
"I'm Queen Opal. Or Fang," Queen Opal said and pushed Pony aside. "Fang, what you're doing is dangerous! Within minutes the universe will collapse!"
"The universe? What are you talking about?" Pony asked.
"Fang made a huge mistake! She is going to make everything change, everything re-set! And I'm not dying because of her!" Queen Opal said.
"Who is Fang?" Pony asked.
"She is!" Queen Opal said, pointing to Star. "She ruined everything!"
Suddenly Queen Opal disappeared.
"Where did that crazy lady go?" Pony asked.
Suddenly the ground started the shake. Star fell to the ground, and the side of the castle wall exploded. A bright yellow figure lowered from the ground, and disappeared into a faint gray light. Fang stepped out of the light.
"Get. Out. Of. My. Body," Fang said, and lifted Fang's wand at Star.
"No! This is my body now, and you're stuck as Fang for the rest of your life!" Star said and summoned a blast of fire at Fang. But nothing happened.
"Silly. Don't you know Fang is fire proof?" Fang said and lifted her wand. "But you're not."
Star jumped out of the way from a fire blast and hit the ground hard. She dropped her wand and it skidded across the floor.
"GET OUT OF MY BODY!" Fang snapped and flung herself at Star, punching her and kicking.
Star fought back, she drop kicked Fang and she fell backwards.
"You don't deserve to be Star Butterfly!" Star snapped.
"I was born Star Butterfly!" Fang snapped. "And you took her away from me!"
"Get used to being Fang!" Star snapped.
"Toffee is my damn father! I hate Toffee!" Fang snapped. "Why would you switch me with that?"
"Because I was miserable in that life! Now, everyone loves me!" Star said.
"Well Toffee is my dad, and I'm miserable because of that! If you don't fix time, I'm killing Toffee in your universe!" Fang snapped.
"You won't! You can't!" Star snapped.
"Watch me! At midnight, Toffee will be dead. I've killed him before, I can do it again," and with that, Fang walked out of the building and cut the scissors in the air and walked into the portal. Within seconds she was gone.
"Uh, Star?" Pony asked as she flew close to her. "I don't understand what's going on."
Star looked around. "It doesn't matter now, but we have to leave this kingdom or we're in trouble."
"Why? Maybe we can find those two losers and beat them up!" Pony said.
"No, I have to focus on Fang first, but for now let's leave," Star reached for her scissors, but they were gone. "Where are my scissors?"
"What! You lost them?!" Pony cried. "How will we leave?"
"By foot," Stat said. She ran out of the building and down the dirt road, she saw at least five figures walking down the road.
"Who are those creeps?" Pony asked.
"I've seen them before," Star said. "I don't think they're any good."
Star ran across the road and through a building, then crossed another road and another, and kept running through the kingdom until reached the woods.
"Uh, B-fly, those creepy people are still here!" Pony cried.
Star turned around, Pony was right, the five figures were right behind them. Star ran as fast as she could into the woods, she didn't stop running until, until...
Star fell to the ground, unable to breath. The heart on her cheeks dimmed, until they were all black.
Come back Star, you don't want to leave this wonderful universe do you?
Star sat up and looked around, the woods was gone, everything was black, and Pony Head was gone. The only thing Star could see was the five figures.
Don't leave Star, stay here, you're better off here.
Star got up and ran deeper into the darkness, away from the five figures.
Pretty soon Star could see images, like trees and lakes. Star suddenly stopped when she saw Opal sitting on a tree limb. The same tree she sat on before she was found. Before all this began.
"Fang! Where have you been?" Opal asked, and jumped off the tree. "I... lost you in the corn field. You blacked out and ran away from me. So I thought I'd stay here until you came back. But where did you go?"
"I- I was in another universe! I was Star!" Fang cried, and looked down at herself. She was Fang again. "And I was at a party, and I killed Toffee- wait, DAD!"
Fang ran into the castle, she ran to all of the rooms, looking for Toffee. And finally she found her.
"Fang? What are you doing here?" Toffee asked.
Fang turned around, she knew she couldn't tell her dad everything that happened. "I uh- I'm ready for my wand."
Toffee smiled and led Fang to a large room, where Toffee took out the wand and handed it to Fang. "Take care of it, for you and Opal."
"Okay Dad," Fang said, and backed out of the room.
"Fang!" Opal ran to Fang. "Stop leaving me behind!"
"I got my wand, I have an idea, but you need to hold my hand the entire time," Fang said.
"You're weird," Opal said. The Utter Kingdom looked the same, it was full of loneliness and regret.
