"(y/n), where's the explanation on how to further develop your project?" the professor asked, a worried expression loomed over his facial features.

You had been preparing days, even weeks for this presentation for this class. You were confident that everything could go smoothly during the presentation and it did for the first part. When the professor had spoken, the previously uninterested students turned their heads and settled their eyes on you, making you feel anxious and your mind went blank.

"So, where's that part?" he further questioned, tapping his fingers on the table impatiently.

"I-It's here..." you replied, your hand scrambled for the mouse to find the file that contained that particular part. You had to make a separate slide for it as the explanation was too long and it would make the first part look messy.

Scrolling down the file that has the presentation, the slide that had your explanation was not there. You panicked internally, continuing to check the other files, fingers trembling and eyes skimming through each and every word quickly. Unfortunately, the file was nowhere to be found on the computer.

"S-Sir... It's gone.." you looked back at the professor and he just sighed.

"It's okay, (y/n)." he said, disappointment evident in his tone despite his small smile. You removed the USB from the laptop that was set out for presentation purposes and walked back to your seat dejectedly. Jimin, your bestie and seatmate just gave you a pat on the back, silently telling you that it was okay.

After the last class of the day, you went back to the apartment that you shared with Jungkook. Jungkook was home already, sitting at the couch with his game console playing a shooting game.

You left your bag aside and slipped under his arms, sitting on his lap while leaning your head against his shoulder.

"What's wrong, baby?" he asked, sensing that you had a bad day, his eyes still focusing on the screen following his target. You stayed quiet, shifting your head to bury it into his chest, tears escaping your eyes and seeping into the thin fabric of his black tee.

Jungkook felt the small spot of wetness and paused his game, settling the controller in front of him. He wrapped his arms around you, pressing his cheek against your hair.

"What's wrong, baby?" he asked, worry laced his tone. He rarely saw you like this, crying just after class. Usually you would sit in his lap, telling you about the little stories and scenarios that happened during class while he either played games or lied down beside you on the bed, listening attentively and smothering kisses all over your face.

"M-My presentation..." you sniffled, voiced slightly trembling while you clung onto the back on his shirt. "I-I lost t-the file..." the sniffles got louder as you stuttered the sentence.

"It's okay, princess." Jungkook hugged you tighter, trying his best to comfort you. He knew how long you took to get all the information, the calculations and all for this project and most importantly, he knew how sad it is that when you lost the thing you put so much effort in making. "It's okay. There's always next time and you can make up for it."

You nodded but still not moving your head away to face him.

"Cheer up, please?" he said in a cute voice in attempt to make you smile. He only used this voice when he wanted something from you and you loved it when he used this voice. His hand travelled to your cheek, stroking it gently. 
You shifted your head to look at him, a small smile on your face while he smiled brightly when he knew he made you happier. You pulled yourself up, hands on his shoulders and gave him a soft kiss.  "Thanks, Kookie." you said, pressing your forehead against your boyfriend's, his cheeks pink as his eyes crinkled while he bared his bunny teeth smile.

Jungkook was not the best in comforting people, you knew that the best but his small, affectionate gestures melted your heart and cheered you up.
