*Kaden's P.O.V.*

The thick grey smoke continued to grow and people broke into the home. They started to tear and break everything in their path, but I didn't care about them ruining the place because Isabella was in trouble.

"Jack!" Her voice was calling onto me. Just as I was going to run through the crowd to look for her voice, I saw a tattoo of a certain pack and realized that these were the rogues. These are all of the baddest werewolves who were banished from their pack and they decided to form their own "pack" and they were definitely working for Kenneth. But why were they calling me a monster? Masks covered their faces and I knew that if I stayed around them any longer they would find out that I'm here through my scent.

I heard screaming. Isabella! I put my hoodie over my face so no one would be suspicious of me and ran towards the screaming. A small circle of rogues surrounded Isabella. They began to growl.

I growled behind them using my alpha tone and they all turned around towards me. At first, they were paralyzed but it quickly changed to growls of anger. I growled back and felt my wolf coming out. I tried my best to control him in order to not scare Isabella.

"Bella, run!" I yelled.

"But what about you?"

"I'll be fine. Just run."

She hesitated, but finally ran. I shifted into my wolf form. I knew that I was outnumbered but I have to do all I can to protect her.

I growled at them. I could feel the rage through my veins. The rogues all turned into wolves and started to attack me. One by one I threw them to the wall. I knew if I didn't run out now they were probably going to come at me stronger. Plus, for some reason, I couldn't stay in wolf form for very long because of the spell that I was under which made it hard for me to do anything I could normally do. There were like 20 of those werewolves and if I changed back to human form without me trying they would rip me to shreds. There had to be more and they must've gotten to my pack. I ran out the burning cabin and the rogues quickly followed.

I ran as fast as I could and shifted back to human form. I could smell Isabella's scent and I knew she was around.

"Bella, what are you doing here?"

"I couldn't leave you with them. I—" before she got to finish, the thundering of werewolf paws' shook the ground.

"Run, Bella. Don't look back." I said.

I pushed her forward and she began to run. I ran with her also trying not to let my wolf think of chasing, catching, and mating her.

"Jack, I can't run anymore. I'm getting weaker."

"Keep trying."

"No, really. The smoke from the fire made me feel—Whoa," She said trying to hold herself up from feeling dizzy.

The rogues were even closer to us.

"I'll carry you." I picked her up and began running. I looked forward and did not pay attention to Bella for a while until I heard her scream.

"The wolves. The wolves from the first time I came into the woods. They're chasing us. Not the people. Wait a second. It's as many wolves as there were people, so that means...Ahhhh! Werewolves! Jack, why are they calling you the monster when they are werewolves?"

I kept running and didn't answer her question. I came to find more masked rogues were destroying the pack houses'.

"Holy shit." I said in complete shock.

"Oh my gosh. Jack, is you're family okay? Where's Kaden?"

It looked like as though Bella wanted to ask more questions, but stopped when she looked into my eyes. Fear came across her face.
