I doodled while listening to a very boring Mrs. Yves talk about her mother’s denture problems in history class. Why would anyone be interested in her dead mother’s dentures when they aren’t interested in her history lessons?
I pray that the old woman doesn’t start rolling in her grave.

Today, Chrissy, Talia and Anisha didn’t keep a seat for me so here I am stuck with John, a guy who replies to all my questions, even ‘What’ and ‘Why’ ones, with a ‘Yes’ or a ‘No’.
Idiotic Mr. John Yesno.
I should’ve honestly seen this coming. Being blocked from the girls group texts, them using code words when I was around.
Groupism is shit and I don’t belong anywhere.
Janet said she would see me around and maybe we could have lunch together. But I ate lunch alone today just like every other day.

The bell rang pulling me out of my depressing thought as my mind shouted a “Praise the Lord the day is over!”
I zig zagged through the bunches of people milling around the corridors. I could feel them cast glances at me as I ran past them.
The faster I’m out of here the safer I’ll feel.
The flow of the crowd turned right, towards the main gate while I turned left and walked past another set of empty classrooms absent-mindedly fiddling with the leather strap on my left hand.
I hated walking out through the main gate. I hated walking out alone. I hated the fact that I didn’t have a gang to joke or laugh with. I occasionally would find someone I knew but after small talk they were gone.
I sprinted on the sidelines of the deserted basketball court till I reached the back gate of the school only to find the damned thing shut.
Dang it Joe!
Joe is the school’s gate keeper who I knew pretty well and he never closed Gate 04 before school ended. Guess he didn’t show up today.
“Are you going to run back again?” a low voice suddenly said behind me, sending a chill through though my spine.
I balled my fists and spun on the heels of my red converse only to come face to face with a piercing eyed boy, arms crossed over his chest.
Yes you guessed it right! A round of applause for Dustin everybody.

I was done being intimated by him. Now all I wanted was to slap his face and ask him why was he acting like an unsummoned genie appearing when he wasn’t needed.
Dustin Mcavoy was currently interrupting Shawn Mendes’s beautiful voice.
“How can I help you” feeling terribly annoyed while taking out the one earphone I had in my ear.
“Is this yours?” he asked opening his palm to reveal a tiny silver pendant of a dolphin.
How did I not notice it missing?
I immediately looked at the leather strap of my bracelet to find one less charm.
My demeanor did a back flip and went from annoyed to grateful at the sight of the tiny charm in his hand.
“Yes. It’s mine!” I timidly replied as I stretched out my hand to take it.
But as soon as I did, he closed his palm and pulled back his hand while I held back an eye roll.
“Not so fast Tiger” his low voice said as he continued leaning against the wall while I tried to ignore the fact that he called me tiger.
Guess it must have fallen off when my hand hit the wall last night.

“I want you to do something for me”, he says still leaning against the wall
Why couldn’t he ask one of his fan girls? There seem to be many in our school!
“And what makes you think I will do it for you?” I ask crossing my arms and raising an eyebrow.
“This seems precious to you. Isn’t it?”
Oh great! Now we’re here making deals with the devil.
“What do you like me to do for you, your highness”
A stupid smirk appeared on his face with that.
Can’t he feel the sarcastic undertones bruh?
“I want the password to Mr. Conte’s lappy.”
“Are you insane? How will I have the vice principal’s laptop password?”
“Do not call me insane.” The hard glare returning to his face.

I asked the bozo if he was one. Didn’t call him insane yet.
“Tomorrow at 12.55, Room No D5, he will be present at your student council meeting with his computer. Look at the screen and remember his password”
“I’m not doing your dirty work”
“Then you ain’t getting this back . The dolphin will see the garbage bin instead of the sea.”
“I don’t take instructions from people like you. And that is just plain rude.”
He ran a hand through his windblown brown hair while the other clutched the pendant, his two colored eyes bearing a challenging look.
Oh deer! I look like prey in front of its predator.
“Umm” I finally say after several  moments of intense eye contact and raised eye brows. “Give me back the pendant and I’ll forget the fact that you’re trying to illeagally trying to hack into stuff.
“You really don’t how to make deals, do you?” as a let out a low, humorless laugh.
Okay. I’m done being nice. Cue thunder and lightning effects.
I took a step closer so I was about 15 centimeters  away from him, leaning against the wall with a smirk on my face.
Who ever said only bad boys smirk?
“Get as close as you like hun. The charm will be yours only after you do my job. Your face shows how much you value this tiny pendant.” The smirk reappearing on his face.

“Well I’m getting it back and I’m not doing it your way”, his eyes didn’t break contact with mine when my hand moved and firmly gripped his left wrist.
