I was in the room, holding her hand as she gave birth to Hayley on September 22.
when everything was over with, i got to hold her. she was a beautiful, perfect, healthy baby.
it seems like just yesterday, that kenzie came into my dressing room the night of my concert with ski. i knew from the night at her grandparents house, where we made out on a dare, i was gonna wife her. and now that i did, and now that i have a daughter, we are happier than ever.
48 Hours Later
I walked out the hospital, Jahseh carried Hayley and put her in her car seat. Then we got in the car and drove home, i was texting the boys and updating them and everything. but ski wasnt answering.
"hey baby, whats wrong with Stokeley? he's not texting back" i said
"who knows" he said
When we pulled up, I took Hayley out and went in and put her in her crib

And I slept for the rest of the day.
When i woke up, i heard jahseh in our bathroom on the phone
"what about him"
"is he gonna be okay"
"were gonna be there soon" i heard, then he came out.
"we gotta get to the hospital." he said.
I went into Hay's room and put some nicer clothes on her, then we went to the hospital. When we got there Jah told me to go in first, and that he would hold Hayley.
I went in and saw him, lying on the bed.
My eyes filled with tears.
"Hey, youre niece was born yesterday." i said, then inhaled. I grabbed his hand and started rubbing it.
"Hayley Marie. -- you would really like her... I cant stand to see you like this. Please wake up. I feel like im talking to a lifeless corpse. Wake up." i cried.
The room was silent, other than the faint heart monitor beeping.
