In the practice room, you ploped yourself on a chair and started playing Canon in D as a warm up. You played each note slowly, with a lot of vibrato. You kept on repeating the same notes over and over again for minutes.
This is a typical Cello solo. The same notes, same phrase, over and over again. You hated it, but playing this solo has became an annual affair. Over time, the emotions in your music started to fade away. Your music has become dead.
'You have beautiful tone, but it needs more emotions.'
Every conductor you played for told you the exact same thing. But, you lost the ability to play your heart out.
You than thought it is time to leave music. You have been playing and waiting for the emotions to return, but they never do. You sighed out loud.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. It was your stand mate.
'(F/n), the new Violin First Stand is here.'
