You looked at him and agreed. From this wooden shelf, he took out a piece, 'The Rain',composed by Joe Hisaishi.
'I heard you are a huge fan of Joe Hisaishi, so let's play this.'
You love The Rain. It is a really beautiful Cello and Violin duet. You had always wanted to play this piece with a violinist, but since this is more of a cello heavy song, they always turn it down, and you had to change to another piece, or slot it back into the archives.
After going through the whole song, you felt a sense of joy you had not felt in a long time. It didn't felt like the past duets you played where you supported the violinist the entire song. With Akashi, you supported him, he supported you. The two of you took turns and allowed the both of you to shine together. For the first time in a long time, you enjoy music. After finishing the song, you grinned and asked Akashi whether it was time to start doing the arrangement. Akashi smiled back at you, and nodded in agreement.
