{Chapter 19} Talk

"I need to talk to you"

I wiped the tears that were falling of my eyes as I pressed sent to the text message

"What do you want?!"

I squeaked my teeth as I read the text message. How can someone be so ignorant?

"You know what I want. I don't care if you have schedules, photoshoots or anything. In half an hour. ***** cafe. Meet me there."

I sent the text, tapping my finger on the back of my phone to reduce my anger, leaning my body to the wall, a deep sigh leaving my lips as I ruffled my hair in frustration.

Of course the text could only be meant to a special person. One that ever since I got into YG to train has been making it ten times harder than it already was. That person is no other than Jess

"Guys, I'm sorry but I'll have to go for about an hour" I said almost barging into our practice room but at the same time, just peeking my head thought the door

"Ji what happened? Your eyes are red!" Mihee ran to me as she saw me

"Nothing, I just didn't get much sleep last night" I used the most dumb excuse ever, chuckling to play it innocent and avoid further questions

"Okay...! But be back soon" Nayoon told me in a playfull wink, receiving a small giggle from me before I exited the room and headed to the elevator of our company

I did not need a car to get to the cafe since it was quite close to our company so I walked there.

After about ten minutes of walking and thinking of what I should say when I meet Jess. I opened the cafe door, putting my face mask on and a hat before I get in, in order to not get recognised.

As soon as I started roaming my eyes around the cafe trying to spot her figure I saw her, sitting on the counter and talking to some guy I had no idea who he was. Maybe he was a waiter. He seemed tall and even tho I couldn't see him well he seemed really handsome

''Oh hey Jihye-ssi!'' she greeted with a huge smile on as soon as she saw me approaching

''Hello'' I greeted back, trying my best to put a smile on since the guy she was talking to apparenty was not a waiter and was still sitting there.

''Oh! That's Hyunbin. He is also a model in our company and we are doing a photoshoot together'' Jess introduced the guy

''Hello,'' I turned and greeted him as well

''Nice to meet you'' he greeted back. He was really tall with a really deep voice, he had black hair and he really reminded me of Zico sunbaenim for some reason

''Hyunbin, me and Jihye have some talking to do, I will be back in a few minutes alright?'' she informed him, getting a nod as a reply before she could grab my wrist, practically dragging me out of the cafe to some street next to the cafe

''So...what do you need sweetie?'' she questioned with a devious and sarcastic smirk in her face

"Why? Why did you tell Hanbin about what happened in the amusement park?" I asked, anger starting to boil inside of me

She smiled.

"Remember what I told you back in the car? Do anything to Hanbin and this is what you'll get" she exclaimed, moving a step closer to me, the smirk not leaving her lips, probably happy at how the things turned to be

"Jess...by telling that to him, you're not only hurting me, but you're hurting him and Jinhwan as well." I told to her, waiting for an answer only to see her stay silent and lower her head down for a second

"I know. But it's better he knows, what you really are and start protecting his group before you get them into more trouble, don't you think?" The devious smirk came back on her face.

Maybe she was right after all? Maybe I am being way too close to iKON and start bonding with the members a lot more than I should have.

Maybe it's better for Hanbin to hate me?

"You know I'm right Jihye. So please, leave them alone because I'm sure you wouldn't like it if they get in trouble because of you" she exclaimed and then before I could even say a word left to go back to the cafe while I stayed there, thinking of what she had said.

She was right.

*the next morning*

I woke up, not in the best mood after my talk with Jess. And even worse was that when I went back in the company who did I find in the elevator? Of course, some iKON members. Specifically, Hanbin and Donghyuk. Well...all I will say is that that was an awkward elevator ride, nothing else.

Half an hour had passed and we were all ready to get in the car to go to the studio which was about an hour and a half away from where we were.

I sheepishly walked in the car, sitting on the very front, in the seat next to the driver who was of course our manager.

Not wanting to hear anything from anyone, I plugged my earphones in, taking off my shoes, angling my hand to support my head and leaning to the window to just look outside and relax, and maybe fall asleep again.

...

I heard a loud noise that made me instantly wake up from my nap, to feel a sudden pain in my leg and head, and then to feel the urge to sleep again, ignoring the loud voices of people around me.

Hey! Sorry this chapter is so small and probably really bad but I needed to update this since I'm leaving for summer vacation (idk how long I'm gonna leave for) and Idk if I'll have internet to update this there so... ;)
