"Nobody knows about the unknown-different-place. The people who have gone there have never came out." Scott said. Me and Alicia sat in front of him with crossed legs as if he was telling us a long lost tale.

"But what about the resources? How do they recieve stuff like newspapers and food?" I asked.

"They produce and supply it inside that place. Thats why some people predict the condition of people living there might be very bad. They might have to actually hunt down food or worse." Scott explained.

All I could think was about Jayzen's sister: Lennon. She wasnt even ment to be in that place. From whatever the girls had told me during lunch break, Lennon was normal. Actually, nobody deserves to be in that place.

"So how is the test like? Has anybody escaped it?" Alicia asked interupting my thoughts.

"The test is pretty strict but even though this is confidential information I am going to tell you that yes, people have been escaping the test." Scott said. As soon as he said that people have escaped it me and Alicia looked at east other. So does he know about people who have escaped it?

"I am going to keep these plates in. Avy, can you please help me?" Alicia asked. Obviously she wanted to talk to me privately. We went in the kitchen and I kept the plates in the sink.

"See! I told you there is a way! There is!" Alicia said hugging me. Geez, too many hugs in a day?

"Yes there is! But how are we going to know who those people are?"

"We will. One step at a time. But we cant tell him that you are different." She said.

"But I trust him. I really do. And I dont see anything wrong in him."

"I know. But I dont know.. Do you want to tell him everything right now?"

Do I? I do trust him but what if he tells someone who he trusts and that person might just report just for the sake of the prize money he or she will get. There is a lot of risk.

"We will wait and see. We wont tell now."I said. Alicia nodded in agreement.

Just as we were getting out of the kitchen Scott stepped in.

"Okay ladies, it is getting late. I should be leaving. I surely swing by soon Avy." He said and kissed my forehead. I smiled back. He hugged Alicia and waved us godbye and left. As much as I hated keeping secrets from him, I had to.

"I never got a chance to hear you sing!" Alicia complained.

"No worries. I'll get my guitar and come down." I said. I was a bit nervous but excited. I was happy I will be singing. I missed how the guitar felt in my hands, the vibrations on the strings under my hands and how I felt so powerful when I took the high notes. I took out the guitar from its case and went downstairs.

Alicia waited there on the sofa. As soon as she looked at the guitar in my hand she smiled. I adjusted my guitar and started singing.

"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen. A kingdom of isolation And it looks like I am the queen.

The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside. Couldnt keep it in, heaven knows I tried.

Dont let them in dont let them see. Be the good girl you always have to be. Conceal dont feel, dont let them know.

Well now there they know

Let it go, let it go. Cant hold it back anymore

Let it go, let it go. Turn away and slam the door.
