Why dont I have the power of being invisible instead of seeing Aura's? I really wanted to be invisible right now. It was my last class for the day: Math. I had somehow survived in other classes after lunch. Wherever I went, they just stared. And let me tell you, Math wasnt any different untill I saw him.

"Avyana you are going to be fine. Just ignore those staring creeps. They are all afraid of that dumbhead, Roy." Jazz was doing her best to make me feel better. But little did she know that getting known is a huge risk. I couldnt help but feel insecure about me being different.

"Thank you Jazz. I'll meet you after class. If I survive, plus I hate Math." I said.

"Soon my little warrior. Soon." She said while she laughed. Good atleast someone shares my dramatic nature.

Math. Its is harrassing for me. I never really understood the subject properly. I was pretty good at other subjects but when it came to math I was worse that a two year old. Okay not that bad. Well its just last class so its okay.

As I stepped into the class all the people, let me repeat, all the people looked at me. I just kept my eyes on the floor and took a seat on the last bench. Thankfully, they all stopped staring and went on doing they were doing before. I happened to look up and Jayzen stepped in the class. Unlike before, he didnt stare at me.  He just walked in and sat in the bench on my side. Again, I couldnt see any color around him. How do normal people deal with this? Not knowing how the person is? It must be so hard to trust people. I could understand now. I just couldnt judge him. It was woefully surprising.

The teacher came in and started teaching. Suddenly the door flew open and Roy came in the class. There was a pin-drop-silence. They all are really scared of him. And damn, we share two classes. Before sittting on his bench, he looked at Jayzen. Hate was all around him, vibrating. Jayzen looked at him too, but again, I could see nothing.

Today had been hectic. I couldnt concentrate. First day of school, dangerous encounters, Jayzen's mystery and now: Math. This last class seemed like forever. finnaly after drawing two pages of doodles the bell rang. I packed my stuff at the speed of light. I just had enough of the first day. As I was rushing out I walked into a broad, tall and, might I add, strong person. Jayzen. Geez whats with me and running into people now?

"You are new arent you?" He asked. I really didnt think he would talk to me. I just idioticlly stared at him for a second.

"Ummh yes I am new to town."

"Do you need a ride home." He asked. Wow, he doesnt know me and he wants to drop me home? Or was he just being helpful? Ugh this not-seeing-the-Aura this is not working at all.

"Thanks Jayzen, but someone is already coming to pick me up."

"Looks like somebody already introduced me to you. You know my name." He said and half smiled. Damn, what am I gonna tell  him now? Maybe the truth.

"Well, my friends say you are pretty famous in school because of your uhh.. sister. And also because you are the only one who stood up against Roy." I said honestly.

"Well you heard that. But you are wrong about this one," He said.

"And what might that be."

"Now I am not the only one who stood up against Roy. You are added in the list. Welcome to the club." He said and smiled. His smile is like all those movie stars. He looked like a model himself. By this time, we were outside the school. I saw Alicia's car waiting for me in the parking. As I began to go towards Alicia's car. Jayzen called out and said,

"Avyana! I'll see you tomorrow." He half smiled again. Must be his signature style on which I bet all girls must be dying for. Oh and he knew my name too! Ofcourse, I was unfortunately famous aswell. I turned around and waved him a goodbye.
