Chapter 12: Destruction of Konoha

I hope you enjoy this chapter. I loved watching the episode where Kushina explained everything! Now I'm creating that event in my own way. As I said at the start I don't own any of the characters shown here except from Ayame, the eleven tails and twelve tails, and the pack of wolves.

°Kushina's POV°

It was nearly time for Naruto to be born.
"Kushina! You have to get on the birth table, now!" one of the elders ordered.
"Sorry." I apologised I sat down in the table,
"No, lie down." she said with a stern face.
"My contractions aren't even that bad yet!" I folded my arms.
"They will become worse very soon since you're a Jinchūriki." The old woman explained.
"You're so stubborn." I heard her mutter.
I didn't have any choice but to lie down. Naruto, please come out with pith any pain. I saw a glimpse of yellow come near me.
"Minato, it's hurting more and more every second!" I complained.
Minato grabbed my hand and laughed.
"It's going to be alright, don't worry. You've got Ayame protecting us and me keeping your seal stable." He said with a comforting voice.
The old lady coughed and narrowed her eyes at Minato. Minato's sweat dropped.
"Uh, yeah she's here too." Minato quickly added her in.
I smiled at him. The old woman covered my bottom half with a blanket.

A shooting pain came from my uterus. I yelled in agony. The pain didn't go away, it stayed there, getting worse and worse. Is this what having a child is like?!
"It has begun, Minato get ready!" the old woman ordered walking over to where the baby would come out.
"It.. It hurts ya know!" I screamed as my contractions got worse.
Minato kept his hand on my seal keeping it tight so it wouldn't break.
All I could feel was pain. I yelled and scream grabbing Minatos jumper. I clenched it tight in my hands as I pushed Naruto out.
"I can see the head." the old woman exclaimed.
I saw Minato smile.
"Minato! Concentrate!" the elder yelled.
Minato put all his focus back on the seal.
"AHHHHHH!" I screamed as I pushed once last time.
I gasped as I heard crying from below me. I was panting hard and I was sweating so much.
"Na-ru-to!" I said relieved.

°Ayame's POV°

It was dark and the air was cold. Something was off. A breeze past my face. Rustling was heard in the trees. I quickly grabbed a kunai and armed myself. I sensed a strange chakra coming near us very fast.
"Get ready!" I exclaimed as I told the two Anbu.
I heard two people fall behind me. My eyes widened as I turned around. I stood there frozen. H-how did he get past me?
"So you're the crystal style user huh? Ayame Arakawa? Is tht right?" A man with a mask questioned.
"Who the hell are you!?" I yelled and quickly looked at the two Anbu.
They're out, that's for sure. So I have to do this alone no problem, I can handle this.
"That's foe you to find out." The masked man laughed.
He walked over to the barrier. I quickly threw kunai at him which went straight through.
"What?!" I gasped in shock.
The kunai just went straight through him! But how?! I heard him laugh quietly, he continued as if I wasn't still there. I ran up to him quickly making hand signs.
"Earth Style, Emerge!" I performed a Justu where dagger like pieces of earth emerged from the ground.
I gasped, they went right through I'm too?!
"You've got to try better than that." he laugh with an evil intent in his voice.
"You're all bark but no bite!" I exclaimed quickly teleporting behind him.
I threw some paper bombs but no use, it went directly through him too. What is up wit this guy?! He turned around and attacked me with a fire ball. I quickly jumped up into the air.
"Water Style, Drowning Waterfall!" A great amount of water came gushing out of my mouth. Deflecting the fireball.
What I didn't realise was that he was behind me. I turned around and he hit me straight on a pressure point making me faint and fall to the ground.

It was dark and quiet.
"Ayame, Ayame, Ayame..." I heard my name being called, repeated many times.
"Who, who's there?" I said.
Suddenly a huge white light hit me. I opened my eyes an saw Minato.
"Minato!" I exclaimed sitting up straight away.
"We have to move quickly! The Kyuubi's been released!" he exclaimed and I jumped up and followed him to the village.
"Where's Naruto as Kushina? Are they alright?!" I asked with fear.
"Yes, I got them to a place where they won't get hurt." Minato explained.
I gave out a sigh of relief and heard screaming from the village. This must be really bad. I saw the Nine Tales demolishing the village with its tails. Ayame go on, I've for somewhere to go. Minato disappeared in thin air.
"Kurama." I heard Nyobi say the Kyuubi's name.
"Ayame, transform into me. Please, your dealing with a tailed beast here." Nyobi asked, he sounded serious.
"Okay, but we're working together on this." I exclaimed opening the seal from the inside.
My body was taken over by Nyobi's. In Nyobi's mind I sat on his nose. I ran up into the sky, basically flying.
"Kurama!" Nyobi yelled.
The Kyuubi looked up at Nyobi creating a tailed beast bomb. Kurama roared in anger. Nyobi stopped his tailed beast bomb by absorbing it as it hit him.
"Kurama! Who released you?!" Nyobi asked standing in the sky.
"Ayame there's something wrong with him, as if he's being controlled." Nyobi said in his mind.
I gave out a grunt. I clenched my fist.
"Nyobi, try and get him away from the village. I'll think of something." I replied closing my eyes.
Nyobi created a Tailed Best Bomb and hit directly at Kurama.
"How dare you Nyobi!" Kurama snarled.
"Nyobi, stop. Return back to me. I've got an idea, this was a backup Minato and I briefly discussed." I ordered.
Nyobi returned into my body. I ran up to the Mountain Faces.
There was one of Minato's kunai's he used to teleport with. It was the same kunai he gave me in the hospital. As I walked up to the face of Minato, Minato suddenly appeared.
"Minato! What happened?" I yelled as I jumped onto the stone head.
"Ayame stay back." He ordered making hand signs as Kurama started making a tailed beast bomb to attack Minato.
As Kurama released his bomb at Minato, Minato somehow made the bomb disappeared.
"How?" I said quietly behind him.
Few seconds later I heard a explosion by the north field . Oh, so he didn't make the bomb disappear, he teleported it.
"Ayame, look after everyone here. I'm having this battle elsewhere." Minato said and jumped on the Kyuubi's back.
He looked at me one more time and slammed his hand on Kurama's back. In the blink of an eye, he teleported the both of them to a place, safe and far away from the village. I looked down at the village to see half of it in flames, broken houses and so many people screaming. W-what happened here. I trembled as I looked at all the chaos. T-this was all my fault. I fell down to my knees. I looked at my hands with terror.
"I-I couldn't p-protect them!" I whispered as tears flowed out of my eyes.
"Don't give up Ayame. They need you. Find Minato and end this all. You're the person Kushina and Minato trusted. Don't let them down." Nyobi's voice echoed in my mind.
I clenched my fist. I wiped my tears away and stood up.
"You're right. Thank you." I whispered as I closed my eyes and focused my chakra to my feet.

There! I ran on the village walls and jumped over them. I spotted the Kyuubi in glowing chains far away from the village. I won't be able to get there in time if I ran there.
"Summoning Justu!" I summoned my pack of wolves.
"Help everyone, please." I ordered them and they nodded heading into the village.
I made some hand signs and teleported to where Minato and Kushina were. I saw Lord Third, Kushina, Minato, Naruto and the Kyuubi.
"Lord Third!" I addressed as I ran up to them.
"Ayame. You can't do anything here. There's a barrier preventing us from helping them. Minato must've set it up. All we can do now is watch." The Third Hokage said.
I'm too late. Minato summoned something that looked like the eight trigram seal. He placed Naruto on the little bed. Is he planning on making Naruto the Jinchūriki of the Kyuubi?! I gasped as Minato preformed the Shiki Füjin Jutsu (also known as the Reaper Death Seal) . What's he trying to do?!
"Kushina! Minato! NARUTO!" I yelled as Kurama tried aiming for Naruto with his claw.
I closed my eyes hoping all of this was a dream. I opened them to see Kushina and Minato standing in front of Naruto, with Kurama's claw pierced straight through there stomach. I screamed. No, no, NO, NOO! Kushina and Minato said their last words to their newly born child. They finally looked at me and smiled.
"A--yame, please look after him with all your heart..." Kushina whispered as she took her last breath.
A load of tears fell to the floor. A huge ball of light burst out. I closed my eyes and waited for the light to pass. I eventually opened them to find Kushina dead on the floor, with Minato not so far away from her. I quickly turned my head to Naruto which now had a seal on his stomach. I gasped and ran up to him unsteady. The poor child cried and cried. I picked the bare child up and held him close to me.
"It's alright. Don't cry. I'll protect you. Don't worry." I whispered as I cradled Naruto in my arms.
His yellow hair and blue eyes came straight from his father. He has three whisker like markings on each of his cheeks. I cried as I smiled at the child. I turned my head to Minato and Kushina.
"I will fulfil your wish. Even if it costs me my life." I said and walked up to them.
Kushina's eyes were still open. A line of blood trailed down from the corner of her mouth. I placed two fingers on her eyelids and closed them.
"Rest in peace. To the both of you." My final words to Naruto's parents stayed in my heart.

This was a pretty short chapter, I know. But I didn't want to put to much detail since I didn't want to repeat anything you guys jaw already watched. So I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Next chapter coming soon. ^_^
