Chapter 22: Guess Who's Back

*clears throat* Three years skip, as in where Naruto comes back. OMIGERD, so many time skips :O I'm sorry, I just want to hurry some things up. Oh, and comment if you like the new cover??

°Naruto's POV°

I could already see the gates I've been waiting to see for almost, 3 years. I walked slowly beside Jiraiya Sensei. He's one of the legendary Sanin who took me under his wing for a while. I wonder how everyone's changed while I was gone. Butterflies swam in my belly, I guess I was excited, yet nervous too. I just can't wait to see the village again, and I wonder how Lady Tsunade's been lately, most of all... Ayame-san. Kakashi Sensei apparently left just before I came back, I wonder if he's back. We eventually got to the gates, we passed through, the two shinobi at the gate, they stared at us in surprise.

"Is that...?" "Yes, Yes it is." The shinobi said. The first thing i noticed was that Granny Tsunade's head joined all the other Hokage faces. I smiled and went ahead. I ran into the village and climbed up a post, I stood on the very top and opened out my arms,

"It hasn't changed, one bit!" I said aloud. I heard a familiar voice call my name from below me, I looked down and saw Sakura-chan and Konohamaru. I grinned and jumped off the post and greeted the two.

"So, the brat Naruto Uzumaki's back eh?" Sakura smiled.

"Onii-chan! I challenge you in a sexy jutsu battle!" Konohamaru pointed at me and turned into a girl with the Sexy Technique. I laughed,

"Konohamaru, I'm not like that anymore. You need to train more than play around." I looked at Sakura who had a faint shade of pink on her cheeks.

"But... IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?! ILL SHOW YOU WHAT REAL SKILL IS!" I made a hand sign, getting hit hard on the head seconds later. I rubbed the sore area and turned to Sakura,

"Hey!"

"You're so immature! I thought you changed, but no, you're just the same dimwit Naruto!" Sakura stuck her tongue out. I fell to the floor, embarrassed, Sakura-chan's as harsh as ever. I stood back up again,

"Hold on... You've gotten taller than me!"

I compared our heights and scratched my head with my finger,

"Hehe, looks like I am." I stated.

"Well, I've got to settle back in again. I'll see ya later. Ja-ne!" I waved goodbye and headed to my old apartment. I wonder if Ayame-san's at home. I jumped up on the balcony and opened the door, open? If it's open then she must be in.

"Ayame-san! Hey! Ayame-san!" I called out her name and stepped inside. I looked around, there were still two beds. However, both of them looked as if they've been used. I wonder whose sleeping here in my place? Nothing much has changed, just a few toys scattered on the floor. I peeped my head through the kitchen, nope not there. I looked inside the spare room, nope. The bathroom was empty, so where can she be? I heard rustling from the balcony, ah that must be her. I walked out the bathroom to find the person I was looking for. She had a bag around her shoulder, dressed in some new daily clothes I would normally see her wear. She walked in and covered her mouth.

"N-Naruto!" She ran up to me, trapping me in a tight hug. Ayame-san didn't change at all, she was still just a few centimetres taller than me. I looked over her shoulder to find a young girl with dark grey hair, that reached up to her shoulders.. Ayame let go and smiled,

"Now, who's this?" I looked behind her. The child avoided me and moved to the other side. I walked around Ayame chasing the girl, sooner enough I was dizzy.

"Yukiko, it's alright. Don't be scared, he's a very close friend of mine." Ayame-san lifted the child up. I looked at the child and stared her down.
