The princess looked towards me, she looked like she had just seen a ghost. Did she know I was the assassin? No way, I look completely different from how I dress and wear my hair in my assassin "uniform."
"Really? Because I thought I was in the right side.." she said as she looked around the shop some. I couldn't help but crack a small smile. She was pretty brace walking around this part of the town. I watched her intently.
"D-Do you call just anybody Princess Miss. Shop lady?" She stuttered the question, it was kind of cute how she sounded but I really stupid question. I put my hand over my mouth as I let out a small chuckle.
"No I don't call just anyone..." I walk over to her and whisper in her ear softly "..princess."
I could tell that had gotten to her too, her cheeks flushed and her grey eyes moved to stare into mine. I simply smiled widely.
"Freya..." She said as I stepped back away from her "My name is Freya, not princess."
"Freya..Huh sounds almost like the princesses name." I smirked "Aleah... but I only let those special to me call me by name, princess."
I noticed a pout cross her expression as I just smiled wider as I started to walk back behind my counter.
"Is it alright if I come back tomorrow, Aleah?" She asked as she followed my up to the counter, she looked so innocent yet there was a small hint of excitement in her eyes. It was kind of surprising, why did she want to come back? I just shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly.
"I don't see why not princess."
"Okay! I'll shall see you tomorrow then Aleah!!" She waved a little and ran out of the shop hurriedly.
I chuckled and waved a little as she left, Benjamin looked up at me "Well that was a ssssssssssshocker." He said as he slithered half of his body on to the counter.
"How so?" I asked, looking down to him.
He slithered over to my armor and pulled out the mission paper from it and dropped it in front of me on the counter.
"Issn't ssssshe your target?" He questioned.
I sighed and pushed the paper back into my pockets "Yes." I replied bluntly.
"What are you going to do?" He asked, my reply came with a shrug and yet another sigh.
"I really don't know," I started "I can't ignore an order... but I have a month to do it or to run..." I slumped down in my stool and laid my head on the counter, I could feel Benjamin's cold scales graze my cheek, his was of a hug.
"Whatever you do I'll alwaysssss be here, Aleah" he assured me "and I won't let anything happen to you."
I chuckled "I don't need protecting, Ben."
He hisses a little, playfully "you know I'll alwayssss have your back." He said, I feasted my hand on the top of his head "I know, I know~"

I had woken up early the following morning and was out the door before the light of day had even graced the earth. It's restock day and if you don't get out early then you miss all the good deals.
I grunted a little as I pulled a small wagon behind me filled with my pills for the morning. I opened the door to the shop.
"Aleah!!" Both Benjamin and Freya say in unison, Ben looked a little flustered, I raised an eyebrow curioisly.
"Benjamin...What are you doing to princess here?" I asked.
"Me!! I-it was Freya ssshe gave me quite a fright pet, petting me how ssshe did!!" Benjamin pleads. I laughed a little, he was super flustered now.
"Benjamin go cool down I'll watch the shop. Take your time!!" I told him as I walked behind the counter as I parked the wagon against one of the walls behind the counter. I went and sat down. I looked to Freya noticing the feather pin in her hair. I chuckled a little, fondling with my feather that dangled from my earring a little. I walked past her to readjust a sword on the rack behind her.
"Nice hairpin...it suits you, princess." I said as I turned to her, I brushed a little bit of her hair from her eyes. I noticed that her cheeks were starting to turn rosy but I decided not to bring it up. I was still stuck on why she came back...
This girl is weird... I can't wrap my head around her..
