What is wrong with my mind right now...
I back up from Freya, her eyes were wide. I couldn't blame her. I'd be surprised too..
I watched as Freya looked away from me. She looked saddened... I feel like an idiot..
I stood up, that got her attention.
"I'm... I'm going to sleep downstairs tonight." I said as I walked out before she could say anything.
I walked past Kalista's room. Peeking in I saw her passed out on her bed. I walked in and oulled the covers over her then I walkes out.
I sighed as i walked downstairs, I pulled a few of the booths together and made a little bed. Crawling onto my makeshift bed I sighed. My head was spinning, I havent been drunk in ages. Still, I quickly drifted off to sleep.
The next day was pretty bad. We so woke up and didnt really speak to each other. I was pretty sure today was going to be terrible. Bht it actually got better aeojnd lunch. We were all talkkng again, you could still sense the tension between everyone but I think everything settled down since no one could really be mad at anyone too much..
I sat down at the bar and laid my head down. I felt a tap on my back as I peeked from underneath my arms at Freya standing there look in at me.
"C-can we talk" she stuttered out. I raised my head up in a confused manner but agreed to talk with her. She led me outside and into the forest, she must feel comfortable here. We were walking along when she stopped. I stopped a little bit in front of her and turned to look at her.
"Aleah I..." She started but trailed off. I watched as she fidgeted with her hands a little.
I watched her take a deep breath and look at me dead in the eyes.
"A-Aleah I..... I-I'm in love with you!" She spattered out. My eyes widened a little and I watched her ears lay flat to her head.
I clenched my fists a little and took a deep breath.
"I'm sorry, Princess..." I began. I watcged her gaze meet with mjne once again as I turned around so I wasn't facing her.
"But... I cant love. You shoildnt waste your time." I told her as I strted walking again.
I glanced back to see her just standimg there, I disnt know what was going through her head. But then she ran to catch up to me. She stepped in front of me which in turn made me stop.
"I don't care what you say!" She said, determination suddenly filling her eyes.
"I won't stop until you love me as well!" She said with determination.
I was about to reply to her but I stopped. This familiar scent filled my nose. I looked around and then quickly looked at Freya who had also smelled it. And like nothing was just said we dashed off back out of the forest to the bar.
We came to a halt right outside the forest as we stood in horror.
The bright orance light that was now engulfing the bar, she black substance filling the air around us in its disgusting scent.
