So I figured since I've been neglecting writing, I'd just upload another chapter today.

Chapter Four:

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ryan and his family entered the dark room, where only several vampires lounged. Most were arriving at the council meeting early to discuss with their friends. Ryan and Liah spotted their foes, Gavin and Adella, from far away and frowned.
"Great, there's Gavin..." Liah groaned in annoyance.
"And Adella..."
"Children, no complaining. We are here on duty, and you must behave." Ryan and Liah father instructed sternly.
"You are to be friendly with Adella and Gavin, as appropriate. You are seventeen, Ryan. You should know not to get into fights with Gavin every time you see him." Their mother criticized. Ryan rolled his eyes and crossed his arms in discomfort. "As for you, young lady," Their mother turned her eyes to Liah, "you shall be polite to Gavin."
"We must socialize to keep up our reputation, now. You can find us in the ballroom if you need us." Ryan and Liah's parents departed. Ryan and Liah had no choice but to stroll up to their old enemies and socialize. Gavin's strong fingers pressed against the granite keys, making a beautiful melody travel upwards throughout the room.
"Hello, Ryan and Liah." Gavin said formally, without glancing up.
"Hi..." They grumbled in response.
"What are you doing here?" Adella's contacted eyes scanned Liah with hatred.
"What do you think? The monthly meeting. My parents always come." Liah snapped back.
"Now, now, sister. Don't be rude to Liah. She's very much welcome here." Gavin stood up, giving Liah and seductive smile. She felt herself begin to feel sick. "Your welcome to my bedroom too, honey."
"Shut the hell up." Ryan growled, stepping protectively in front of his little sister and shoving laughing Gavin against the piano. Gavin covered his mouth and stifled the chuckles. He always made rude jokes to purposely make Ryan angry. Adella looked smug as she watched her crush act so strong and mature. She gazed at Ryan, knowing that one day he would be hers.
"Hello, Ryan. I haven't greeted you yet." Adella leaned back and rocked herself to the side flirtaciously.
"Yeah. Hi." He said in a huff. Adella clenched her jaw in frustration. Why wouldn't he like her? She tried everything.
"Ryan, let's go sit down." Liah proposed anxiously, wanting to escape the vampire twins more than anything.
Ryan and Liah escaped to the couch and immediatley tried to make it look like they were having a private conversation.
"Damnit, I hate them." Liah cursed under her breath.
"I know. Me too. Just because their parents are royalty, they think they can go around and treat us others like crap." Ryan replied in anger.
"And they think they are choosing us for their mates? When they treat us like this?"
"Gavin's just a prick, he likes you alot though."
"Immature..." Liah muttered faintly.
"I'm going to get some red wine, want any?"
"No thanks..."
Ryan walked to the small table with some red wine and picked up a glass. Wine was always nice to satisfy bloodlust. It gave vampires that burning feeling they needed in order to control themselves, although it could never top the taste of blood. Ryan's thoughts drifted to Evalin. Had she figured out his secret yet? What would happen now?
