Female Member?//Day6 Fanfic

Chapter 1

I walked into the room with butterflies flying around my stomach that it makes me feel sick. I cannot believe out of all the female trainees. JYP picked me to debut as the new female member in Day6, best part is they have no idea. I'm going to meet them right now. Because I am not close to these boys, for I have never even spoke to them before. I guess my approach will always be the same. JYP enters behind me. "Do NOT, I repeat, Do NOT throw up, Celena. You'll be fine. This is what you are meant to do. You know this group produces their own music. It is what you want," I say to myself to calm my nerves.

JYP was the first to speak, "Boys, I have an important announcement."

A boy with glasses responds, "It wasn't me." I give him a strange look. Who does this guy think he is? Sure, he is cute, but I don't fall for guys easily. I need to know him more personally. I need to have a connection with them. Why else would I be a 24 year old who has never been on a date since they were 15. My boyfriend broke up with me for a reason that I don't even want to talk about. I hope no one would find out that reason either.

"I'm not even going to ask what you did, Jae. The important announcement is that Day6 will be a 6 member group again; however, the newest member of Day6 is the lady right next to me. Ok Songhee. Her stage name is Celena. You can learn about her more when you talk after I leave. There are new rules. No dating Celena, no one goes into her room without knocking and the door must stay open, Wonpil don't fight with Celena about the keyboard. You are going back to the synthesizer and sometimes we will have two keyboards. You guys are moving to a bigger dorm of three rooms, one of which is Celena's, and it includes two bathrooms. One of which is Celena's, so everyone isn't late for practice. That is all I have to say. I'll be in my office. Have a good day." He leaves the room.

The boys are staring at me. "What are you staring at?" I ask harshly.

"I'm Sungjin," a man with an acoustic guitar strapped around him, "I am the leader of the group."

The cute guy with the glasses spoke next, "I'm Jae the oldest. I expect that you'll be calling me oppa."

I scoff, "I'll only call you oppa when we are close." Seriously? When I'm close to them they will be called oppa.

"Dang, someone is sassy. I'm Young K," an orange-haired guy with a bass strapped on his shoulder.

"No, it's Brian-hyung," said a guy behind the keyboard, "I'm Wonpil by the way."

The guy behind the drums had red ears and a puppy face that his voice does not match, "I'm Dowoon the maknae."

"Well, I'm Celena. English name is Skylar and my real name is Ok Songhee. I was born in Philadelphia on August 25, 1993. I'm 24 years old," I say brushing some of my hair out of my way.

"So You would call me oppa when we get closer," Jae smiles.

"So we have a noona, Dowoon," Wonpil says. Ugh, I hate being called noona.

"Celena-noona ," Dowoon said, "Do you know the music?"

"Actually, I've been practicing Day6 songs since you guys have been debuted. For some reason, my vocal teacher always made me sing your songs. On top of it, because I sang your songs I practiced them on my keyboard. It helped when JYP picked me to join Day6," I say while looking at my nails. God, how long do I have to be cold? I'll start being less cold later. I can't believe I'm deciding on when I'm going to be less cold.

"Well, Wonpil, can you set up you synth and Celena you can go to the keyboard. We will practice Out of Our Mind because we don't have our newer songs set up for 6 people," Sungjin says as Wonpil starts to set up his synth. I do a few warm ups on the keyboard.
