I didn't care how fast I was going. I just knew that the faster I got to the police station, the faster I could get Michael out of that place. I swerved into the police station parking lot after 2 minutes of driving and turned the jeep off. I jumped out and quickly locked it before charging into the front doors. Everyone inside turned to look at me as the door slammed open. If looks could kill, everyone in that room would be dead right now. "Where the hell is he?!" I growled. The guy at the front desk looked scared. Someone walked up to me, telling me that i needed to calm down, and tried to touch my shoulder. My head snapped to them and I glared before I snapped at them, "Don't you dare touch me. I'm not afraid to hit you and I could care less about the damn consequences." I said coldly. He backed away with his hands in the air. I slammed my hands down onto the counter and heard a crack. "I'm only going to ask nicely one more time. Where the hell is Michael!?" I could feel my anger growing more and more by the second as everyone stayed silent. I knew my blue glow was starting to show but that wasn't what i was worried about. I growled again and pushed passed the guy you came up towards me. "Michael!" I yelled out even though I knew he could hear me. "Im in here, Lyla." He stated in a normal voice. I ran in the direction that his voice came from until I came face to face with a wall with bars. I grabbed a hold of the bars and looked around. "Michael." I said again. On the other side of the bar wall there were more bars along both sides of the hallway. He stook his hand out of one of the cells. I yanked the bar wall until a door opened. I ran straight to his cell. His hair was everywhere. I reached into the bars. He grabbed my hands. My glow went away instantly and tears began to form again. "What are you doing here, Lyla? You're going to get yourself into one of these cells too." I shook my head. "I don't care. You don't deserve to be here. Im going to get you out." I went to yank the bars off but he stopped me. "Don't, Lyla. I could easily do it myself. But that would just cause more problems. They dont have any hard evidence to keep me in hear. I heard them talking before you showed up. All they know is that I wasn't there when you were at the hospital. Which apparently was the same time your 'father' went missing. They don't have any other leads besides me." His eyes flashed to the camera that was facing towards us. 'They are watching. They can hear us.' His voice was in my mind again. I looked at the camera. "He didnt fucking kill that low life abuser, you stupid motherfuckers. His murder is probably half way to China by now and if i could meet the guy who killed that ass hole, i would probably kiss them for doing something I should have done the second he beat me senseless!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I looked at Michael. "I'm getting you out of here right now!" I walked back out to the lobby and looked at the cop that had arrested Michael. I pointed at him, "You! Fuck face!" He looked at me wide eyed. "Yes you! I want that man out of that mother fucking jail cell right now!" He looked terrified. The door to the police station flung open and Damon, Blaze and Jake stormed in. I ignored them as i continued to glare at the officer. "I...Im sorry, young lady but I cant do that." I raised an eyebrow at him and took a step forward. "Excuse me? Yes you fucking can. You cant hold him under false charges and i swear if you do, i will sue all of your asses until you don't even have a dime left to your name. Am i understood?!" I growled out. He went to protest but i glared at him again. "I am not joking! Everything you have right now will be swept up from underneath your feet before you can even say 'I'm sorry'." My voice went dark and cold. You could see the cold chill that ran down his back. He cleared his throat and ran to where Michael was in the cell. He came back and Michael was behind him. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly. I smiled at him, "Lets get you out of here." He smiled back at me and we walked out of there with everyones mouths hanging open, including Damon's, Blaze's, and Jake's. The guys rode in the car they brought and I drove the jeep back.
The guys got home before i did. When i did finally get back, i could feel the energy leaving me bit by bit. I got inside and layed down onto the couch. Everyone was staring at me like i had to heads, except Michael. I looked up from my position the couch and looked at me in confusion. "What?" Jake piped up. "What the hell was that? You went from scary ass momma bear to happy butterfly in two seconds!" They all nodded and Michael just chuckled. "Don't listen to them. That was awesome of you, Lyla. But very risky as well." I shrugged and covered my eyes with my arm. "Can someone please get me a drink? Pretty please?" I heard a chuckle. "After that, I think all of us could use one." I sat up slowly and got comfy in a sitting position. Jake was still staring at me in confusion. Blaze had been the one to get up. 5 shot glasses were sat out onto the coffee table and Blaze poured the lovely liquid into the glasses before speaking, "Bottoms up." We clincked our glasses together before downing the shot. I sighed at the taste. I really did miss the burning sensation. I got upset when i noticed Jake still staring at me. "Look, he needed to get out of there and I wasn't about to let him sit in there and wait for a damn lawyer when I could do the lawyers job 10 times faster, alright? Now stop staring at me like I have two heads." I snapped before storming up to my rooming. When I made it up there I slammed the door shut and locked it before flopping down onto my bed. Before I knew it, my eyes closed and I fell into a deep sleep.
