Chapter 12; A Boy? Or A girl?

*1 week and a couple days until the wedding
*about 20 weeks pregnant

Spencers POV

I wake up and roll to my other side and look at Toby

"Good morning" I whisper

"Good morning" he says back in his sexy morning voice

"Guess what today is!?" I say excitedly

"We get to find out the sex of the baby?!" he says trying to wake up

"Yes!!" I say

"I am so excited! lets go get ready!" I say as I get out of bed fast, then a second later I realized that I was moving too fast too early and had to run to the bathroom to get sick, of course Toby runs in after me and starts rubbing my back, to make sure I am okay.

a minute later

"Are you okay spencer?"

"Yes thanks"

"Your welcome, want to take a shower with me then we can get ready, and head to the doctors?"

"Sure" I say and then we take a shower.

Toby POV

After our shower when get dressed and ready Spencer recently had went shopping with Aria for some maturity clothes, and came back with a lot of cute stuff.

Today she came out wearing a short sleeve striped black and white shirt, black leggings, since jeans don't fit her much anymore, and some cute black flats. Her hair was perfectly curled just liked always. And the baby bump was so cute.

"Spencer you look so good today!"

"Thanks baby" she says as she comes up and kisses me

"Ready to go she says excitedly

Spencer POV

We get ready to leave for the doctors, and Toby has to help me into his pickup truck because my back has been bothering me, plus I can't lift myself up when I am pregnant, It is so nice of him

"Hey Toby?"

"Yes Spencer"

"I was really thinking lately, that maybe we could get another car"

"Like what kind?"

"Oh I don't know maybe like an SUV or a type of car or something, Like still keep your truck but so me and the baby have something, and so I can get in and out of it easier. We would also have 2 cars since I don't have mine from high school because the lease was up."

"Ok, I agree how about we look at cars after the wedding? Is that okay?"

"Sure!"

*About a half hour later we arrive at the doctors for our appt.

"Toby I'm scared"

"Why?" He asks and put his arm around me

"What if the baby isnt healthy?"

"Oh Spencer don't worry I bet the baby is fine."

"Spencer Hastings" The doctor calls

Me and Toby get up and head back go get my ultrasound

"Okay honey lift up your shirt, I am going to measure how big you are, and then we will do the ultrasound" The doctor says

"Okay" I say as a lift up my shirt

"Okay, you are 20 weeks along right?"

"Yes"

"Okay you are a little bigger then expected at 20 weeks but I will be able to tell you why after the ultrasound"

"I thought I was, do you think it is something bad?" I ask concerned

"No it shouldn't be now lets start!"

Durning the ultrasound

"Wow the baby has a great heartbeat!"

me and Toby smile

"The reason why you are a little bigger is because the baby is sitting right on the top of your stomach instead of on your side which happens to most people, But that is really good, so don't worry at all!"

"so do you guys want to know the gender?"

"Yes!" we both say quickly

"Well It is a girl!"

"Yay! I wanted it to be a girl so badly!" I say!

"Me too!" Toby adds

"Well congratulations, you guys have a healthy little girl!"

"Thank you" We both say

"Well that is it until the next appt. any questions?"

"No" we both say

*Then we leave

In the car in the parking lot I look at Toby

"I'm so happy it's a girl, and she's healthy!"

"I am too honey!" as he kisses me

Then we start driving home

I call my mom in the car

"Hello"

"Hi mom, guess what?!?"

"What?"

"The baby is a girl and she is nice and healthy!"

"Oh Spencer, I am so happy for you guys!"

"Thanks!"

"I would love to talk, but I'm at work, I will see you at the wedding! Love you!"

"Okay I will see you there love you too!"
