Chapter 53; It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

January 25th About a month later
Twins- 3 years
Mason- 9 months
Spencer- 11 weeks pregnant.

Spencer POV

Today is the weekend, Toby is off and the kids don't have school, I have been feeling a lot better lately, My hormones and symptoms have still been crazy but my mood swings are not quite as often.
It is nice and snowy outside of course since it is the middle on winter in Pennsylvania, The girls kept asking to go sledding so we decided we would take them today.

It was about noon and we were all eating lunch before we go.

We get there and The kids are already dressed and ready
"Are you guys excited?" I ask I was in a really good mood today, shockingly

"Yeah!" Kylene and Penelope say in unison

I smile and get them out of the car
"I'm not sledding I don't want to hurt myself, and I have mason, But we will watch okay?"

Toby looked at me "Okay, I understand, I will go sledding with them."

"Okay, You guys can have some daddy daughters bonding."

"Yes we can." He smiles and takes them up

Toby POV

I am quite excited to spend some time with my girls, it should be fun!

Spencer and Mason watched from the bottom of the hill and Spencer was taking some pictures of us.

We go up and sled a couple times

I look at them "Are you girls having fun?"

They smile "Yeah!" The both say

"I like doing this! It is fun!" Penny says

"It is fun but it is really cold!" Kylene says shaking a little

I laugh at her a little "Want to stop then and warm up?"

"No this is fun!"

I laughs "Okay."

We walk but up the hill and Slide down a couple more times and then went up again and the girls went down together and me in my own sled this time and then when the girls went down and before I went down a teenage boy goofing around went down and ran right into the side of the girls sled knocking them off the kid falling too and landing on Penny.

I saw and ran down to her

Spencer POV

I was standing holding Mason watching them when I seen it happened. I started running to her still holding Mason

"Penny!" I scream Toby gets there right before me and she screaming and crying I walked up "is she okay?"

Toby looks at me "I don't know."

Kylene stood up she was okay, it just scared her

"Penny, can you stand up?" Toby asks trying to get her up

"Noo!" She says crying

"Okay, come on I'll carry you." he picks her up and they start walking to the car

I look at her "What hurts honey?"

"My leg! My leg hurts!" She kept crying

We. get in the car and buckle her and the other two kids in and I look at Toby
"Should we take her to the er?"

"Probably, I can hardly move her leg without her screaming and saying ow."

"Okay, lets go then."

I say and Toby starts driving to the emergency room.
