HYUNGWON | 20:20
A light.
For Minhyuk.
That was all Kihyun said then, but when we stopped by the lake, he whispered in my ear, telling me I was on my way to finding the end.
Before I could ask where and what, I watch him with his blindfold go in a direction so certain, like an internal compass.
The trailer.
☆
Whatever he was trying to make me find, was in this trailer.
I frantically start digging through our belongings, skipping the snacks without batting an eye. I had a feeling it was something specific, not some mundane food or necessities.
Perhaps a flashlight?
I located the small item, flicked it on and off.
Nothing...out of the ordinary.
This was going to take a while.

"Hyungwon?"
"Yes, Minhyuk?"
"Can you get my bag?"
"Yeah, where?"
"It"s part of the pile of random useless things..."
"...right where I belong."
Before I could open my mouth to protest, I hear Minhyuk laugh bitterly, and I shut it, unsure of what to say.
Moving to another corner of the trailer, I spotted the pile he mentioned; lots of spare parts and such, probably left by Wonho, the wannabe engineer he was.
A dark, olive forest green bag hid beneath all the rusted metal groaned as it shifted its weight, dust flying out.
I coughed, grabbing all the other things and pushing them away.
Flicker.
I swallow nervously, trembling as I give the bag to Minhyuk. He takes it wordlessly, without looking at me.
I go back to the pile, grabbing things again.
A burst of energy.
A fluorescent light; probably used to replace should our rooms suddenly need one.
Shaking, I grabbed it, flinching as I wrapped my fingers around it.
