Hazel Eyes

Everything about her is perfect.

I look into her crisp, hazel eyes,

I lose the ability of control.

Every bone in my body tells me to get away,

run, save yourself,

but the pair of hazel eyes in front of me decide otherwise.

Walking towards her feels like I'm going to die within each step.

The pain of her being here consumes me.

Her whole body smothers me with love and attention.

I can't take it to the point where I break,

break another piece of my soul that remains trapped

behind the wall she has built.

Dozing off in those hazel eyes

creates a maze of pain and agony for myself,

that has no ending, no center for me to reach.

Each glance I take,

a new hook digs deeper into my heart,

making the hole harder to escape from.

I fear she holds the worse things to come.

As she holds the many lies inside of herself,

Nothing good can come from her,

when you look into those hazel eyes.
