After crazy shit,
and what's been said and gone
after dirt,
and lousy thoughts
pushing strongly up
through the water,
i'll bloom.

Author's note
this book was written in the memory of Elise, Diane, Joane... and every other words[women] oppressed. i am a woman and i'm a millennial. and i'm so grateful for my privileges. by virtue of these poems, i am able to share my experience in the 21st century living through a human and female perspective. i am lucky enough to have been born in a era, place, and position that allowed me the means (and opportunities) to write, curate and publish a poetry collection online; without the constant frustration and fear of being neglected, diminished, or even worse: put down into a psychiatric center just because of my given gender at birth... to anyone who might be reading, i deliver the purest, freest and most honest expressions of my vision and stands in life.
thank you.
