Your face in
a bun, framed by
your beard & a cig
the smell of your voice,
the sound of your skin,
the wit in your hands...
and your big broken heart.
left my love inside
your bed sheets, honoring
the act of our misery.
traded magenta for yellow,
so you could prosper, and believe me:
i sure got at ease.
i won't love
you forever, that day
will be gone
love you for
now, without condition
or law.
