-Juliet's pov-
I can't believe Zander did that! After Roxy ran out, I ran after her. I kept running even though I heard Zander calling my name. Juliet, Julia, Jewels...all of my nicknames brought to the world by him. I never want to see him again in my life. I walk up to Roxy's house and ring the doorbell.
"Hello Juliet. Nice to see you again." Her dad said when he opens the door.
"You too...where's Roxy? I have to talk to her." I said, peeking inside their house.
"I'm sorry Juliet but Roxy can't come out right now. She's...uhh...sick."
"Please?" I asked. "I know about the ice powers. I need to talk to her."
He sighed. "Fine." He walked me to Roxy's room.
"Roxy...can I come in?" I asked knocking on her door.
"What are you doing here?" she said. "You aren't safe here."
"I came here to talk to you. I don't care that I'm not safe." I said.
"Juliet GO!" My side of the door started to freeze over. "If you stay here you're gonna get hurt! Go home!"
"NO!" I pushed her door open and saw how different her room looked since the last time is seen it. The walls were frozen over in a pattern in the ice, and it was about thirty degrees colder.
Roxy looked different too. Her hair was cut to where her bangs were covering her forehead, and she had on a light blue shirt with a lace back and black jeans.
"Why didn't you tell me you had ice powers?!" I yelled.
"You need to leave," said Roxy.
"I'm not leaving until you explain this to me!" I yelled.
"Fine!" Roxy yelled. "I was born with these stupid powers. They're the reason my mom left when I was little. I didn't tell anyone because I was afraid the same thing would happen. Are you happy now?!"
"Roxy, I wouldn't have-"
"JUST GO!"
"Fine." I walked out of her room and closed the door behind me, then walked home.
