-eleven years later-

I hunted the halls of my school, looking for my quirky best friend, Juliet. You would've never expected us to even be seen near each other, let alone being best friends. She's popular and the head cheerleader. I'm the exact opposite. I'm pretty much that emo kid who sits in the corner and reads.

I saw Juliet standing with one of her cheerleader friends at her locker. "JULIET!"

She turned around and looked at me. "Oh hey Roxy!"

I walked up to her and her friend, who's name I think is Anna. "Juliet I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"I've just been right here," said Juliet. "The entire time."

"Uhh I'm gonna go now," said Anna or whatever the hell her name is. She grabbed her books and closed her locker. "Bye Juliet." She walked away.

"What's got her panties in a twist?" I asked.

"She was just telling me something private...that's all!" She said, smiling like nothing was wrong.

"What did she tell you?" I asked. "Come on tell me tell me PLEASE?!"

"It was nothing Roxy...let's go to class? I dont want to be late!"

"Meh, I'll get it out of you eventually," I said. "TO CLASS!"

I grabbed her wrist and started, nearly making her drop all her books. When we got to our biology class, we went inside.

"Oh Roxy, I forgot to tell you!" She said, perking up even more than she naturally is, and she's already pretty fuckin perky.

"WAAAAAT?!" I said.

"Juliet!" A guy's voice yelled. A dude with blonde flippy hair and green eyes walked up to us. I swear to god I'm gonna steal his leather jacket. IT. WAS. AWESOME. He sat on the other side of Juliet and gave me a weird look.

"Hey babe...who's this chick?" He asked flipping his hair.

"This is my friend Roxy," said Juliet. "Roxy, this is my boyfriend Zander. He's captain of the football team!"

"Why am I not surprised," I said, smiling. "Hi Zander, nice to meet you."

"Why is your hair white?" He asked me.

"Uhhh hair dye?" I said.

"Hold on guys. I gotta do something for this...bonding moment!" Juliet said, pulling out her phone. "Let's take a selfie!"

"NO SELFIES!" I yelled. "I have forbidden myself from ever doing such things!"

"Okay..." She said putting her phone into her pocket. "It's almost time for class anyways."

"Good girl," I said.

"Are you sure you dyed your hair?" Zander asked. "Because your eyebrows are white too."

"Just drop it!" I said, maybe a little too loud.

"Okay...calm down guys. Roxy, do you want to come get ice cream with Zander and I after school?"

I hesitated. "Sure..." I don't trust Zander. There's just something not right about him.
