Rose's POV

It was the next day. The girls had just gone to practise rehearsing the choreography for As If It's Your Last. They decided to have a break, so they decided to go to a bubble tea shop.

"Jendeukie!" Lisa hugged Jennie from behind. "Which flavour are you going to get?"

Rosé was watching the whole exchange happen. She sighed. Her stomach still had a tingly feeling and her heart fluttered whenever she was around Lisa. When she interacted with other bandmates, Rosé found herself getting jealous. It didn't make sense.

"I think I'll get an matcha latte milk tea," Jennie decided.

They all placed their orders, except for Lisa. "I'm not sure what I should get..."

"You can share with me," Rosé said without thinking. Why, why did she say these things?

Lisa's face immediately lit up. "Thanks, Chaeyoung unnie!" Lisa came to sit right next to Rosé in the booth, her arm around Rosé's waist. She craved death.

"So," Jennie said playfully. "We have some fan signings tomorrow. Reckon we'll see any cute boys?" Jisoo nearly spit out her tea.

"Uh-" the little ChiChoo blushed shyly. "Jennie, our management-"

"Relax," Jennie replied. "They only forbid us from having relationships, right? They haven't forbidden us from checking out cute guys." She rolled her eyes. "What about you, Lisa?"

Rosé saw Lisa meet her eyes. What did that mean?

"I think we should just focus on our careers right now," Lisa said. Jennie rolled her eyes.

"All of you are no fun." Jennie pouted and continued drinking.

Rosé was about to reach for her own taro milk tea when just her luck, Lisa was thinking the same thing. Rosé felt as if her face was on fire as she blushed in embarrassment, feeling Lisa's hand on hers.

"Sorry, unnie!" Lisa exclaimed. "I didn't mean - you drink first."

She's sweet, Rosé thought, picking up the cup and taking a sip.

Lisa's POV

As soon as Lisa slid her hand out from Rosé's, she felt her eyes drift to her Rosé's lips as she sipped her milk tea. Lisa had never noticed before, how pretty they were. Or maybe she had noticed but she hadn't pay much attention.

Jennie waved her hand in front of my face. "Hellooooo, earth to Lisa?"

Lisa tore her eyes away from Rosé to look at Jennie. She hadn't been staring at Chaeng for that long, had she? "Hm, what were we talking about?"

Jennie sighed as if she was annoyed, but Lisa knew from the mischievous twinkle in her eyes that she was joking around. "Jisoo and I were talking about how maybe we can cook dinner together tonight."

Lisa shrugged. "Sure, whatever you like."

She looked at the side to Rosé, who was still sipping her bubble tea. As soon as she met Chaeng's eyes, she felt something different. Something had changed.

Rosé met her eyes shyly and she averted her eyes. What happened to the playful Chaeyoung that Lisa had become best friends with when they were trainees?

She was still there, Lisa decided. But something had changed to Rosé, and Lisa needed to find out what it was.
