Author's Note

Okay, but am I the only person who ships Sunmi and her new backup dancer? 😍 No? Okay, I'll leave 😂
Btw, if you look at the video I've attached, skip to around 0:22 and you'll know what I'm talking about.

I just published a new fanfic: "Don't Say You Love Me"

"All right girls, can I please get a photo of you with your arms around each other?" The photographer told the four idols-to-be. "Rosé, a little bit to the left please."

Rosé shifted to the left, putting her arm around Jennie, avoiding the glare she could see from the corner of the eye coming from a certain blond-haired girl.

"Perfect, girls! 3, 2, 1!"

Rosé's POV

Once we had entered the studio for our photoshoot, I made sure that I was next to Jennie at all times, so I didn't have to stand next to her. She was Lalisa Manoban, a Thai, blond-haired (dyed, of course) dancer. She also happened to be in the same girl group as me.

Lisa chewed her gum, pretending like she didn't care that it was me standing in front of Jennie. She tried to pull off the cool look, but the dagger-stares she shot at me once in a while showed that she was upset that I was beside her favourite unnie.

"All right, girls. That'll be all," the photographer announced and we were free to go.

Immediately, Lisa ran towards Jennie, throwing her arms around her while Jennie laughed at Lisa's sudden move. "Lisa, get off! You're heavy!" Jennie complained.

Sometimes I swore that Lisa had a thing for Jennie, but that was impossible. The company forbid us from having any relationships, and I knew that inner-band relationships were especially restricted.

One of our managers gestured to us, telling us that a van was waiting outside. Lisa and Jennie led the way, with Jisoo and I following behind.

We were part of the new YG girl group, PinkPunk, and there was one member in our group that I just couldn't stand.

I looked forwards at Lisa, who was sticking to Jennie like glue. She was tall, especially for just a 20 year old and the maknae of the group. Her dyed blond hair actually fit her very well, and I had to admit that she was good-looking and talented.

But there was something about her that I just could could stand: maybe because she acted cooler than she was, maybe because I was just a little bit jealous of her dancing skills. Even after practicing twice as hard, I could never catch up with her.

Maybe the name Lalisa Manoban just irritated me to no end.

"I'm so excited to debut," Jisoo said besides me. "It won't be long now, maybe months because we're already promoting." She ran her hand through her purple hair.

"Me too," I said, but what I was really thinking of was how I was get through several years of being in the same girl group as the person I couldn't stand.
