Hoops not Heads - Chapter 21

I found Hayes with his head in his locker sleeping. I woke him up before anyone noticed and he said he felt pretty embarrassed. I told him just remember me this morning. We were watching a documentary and I feel asleep on Hayes lap. He let me sleep but woke me up as it was ending when I woke up he said

"good morning sunshine"

and all my friends were staring and laughing at me. I started laughing too but i was pretty embarrassed. Later today we had gym and this girl dana was there. Hayes and I don't like dana, she is jealous that I date Hayes and she tired to hit on Hayes when I wasn't here one day. While I wasn't looking dana pelted me with a basketball right in the back of my head. I fell over and when I woke up I was at hayes' house and Hayes was sitting with me. I was okay but a little dizzy, but nothing serious.

Hayes and I slept the rest of the day trying to regain energy from yesterday's two hour nap before school. The next morning we were much better and school was better, dana apparently got suspended for a week and that wasn't bad at all. The day was pretty good and we didn't have much homework. He slept at my house tonight and before I drifted off into a deep sleep

he said "I love you"

and I hugged him back and fell asleep..
