Dive in - Chapter 25

We woke up the next morning and Hayes wasn't there. There was a note on the bed.

"I went to the gym should be back by the time your awake"

I went down stairs, it was around 10 in the morning and their was a buffet on their counter, there were pancakes, fruit and all breakfast foods. Mrs. Grier was cooking and skylynn was having some of the food too. I asked Mrs. Grier if she made the food and she said

"yes with a little help from Hayes"

Hayes I thought he was at the gym. I took a grape and before I popped it into my mouth Hayes came running in and swung me around. I dropped the grape and skylynn ran after it. I asked Hayes if he did all of this and he said yes ma'am. I laughed and we had a great breakfast.

Later Hayes and I went swimming in his indoor pool. Hayes wanted to do some dives but I wasn't that good. I confessed that everything I dived I ended up belly flopping. So Hayes taught me how to dive. The first few times I belly flopped and Hayes started laughing. Then I did this okay dive but I thought it felt like a belly flop still. I said to Hayes

" I don't think this is gonna work I keep belly flopping maybe we should just try next time and.."

Hayes cut me off " Samantha, that was a perfect dive!"

We were speechless and it was quiet. Hayes made a move and kissed me it felt like the very first time. We smiled and then dried off and went to the park..
