Joey's POV

I could hear voices all around me as my vision remained blurry. I couldn't really understand what had happens last I knew I was in a duel. Now where am I?

"His vitals are normal," I heard from my left. To my right I heard someone mention cancel appointments and meetings for the rest of the day.

Then all I could hear was screaming about some situation. My situation maybe. "Find me the ass who tampered with my equipment!"

I blinked away the blurriness to see what appeared to be an Egyptian version of Kaiba giving out demands. I blinked again in shock and then it all seemed normal. For the most part. I groaned as I tried to sit up. Kaiba shot around to turn to me. "Are you okay?" He asked feeling my head. "Cats has nine lives not dogs you know?"

He really had to add that in there? What an ass! "I'm fine but what happened?"

"Your duel disk was set to high on the trail settings. We're looking into whose done it so we can investigate the reason why," Kaiba explains as I'm handed some water by the doctor. I saw Christa next to Kaiba analysing some form of data, in guessing from my duel. "I want everyone out now!"

I went to get up to leave but Kaiba grabbed my wrist and stopped me. "Not you," he whispered. I sunk back into the bed as I watched everyone else leave. I'm not sure why I felt so tense all of a sudden. My arms were shaking and my heart pounding. Once the door was shut Kaiba turned to me a stern look plastered on his face. "Why are you making me this way? You and these stupid dreams!"

He pushed me to the bed pinning my hands above my head. I couldn't see his face clearly at this point as his bangs covered his eyes. "I'm going insane. I hate this, I want to say I hate you but I can't anymore!"

The next thing I knew I had a pair of rough lips against mine. My eyes widened in shock, what was happening? Kaiba, moneybag aka rich boy was kissing me! I can't tell if I'm enjoying it or not though. I want to say no but I'm just so confused.

I moved my hand to his back and yanked him away from me by his collar. I took sharp in tales of breathes before feeling tears run down my face. Kaiba looked at me at horror. As if he had commuted murder almost. "W-what?" I stuttered not being about to finish my sentence properly. I can feel my face burning from the activity that just took place.
Kaiba growled as he got off him. "Go home and take the rest of the week off!" He barked the ordered as me and all I could do was run out of the room. I ran down the hall looking for the nearest bathroom but couldn't see anything. It was then I spotted a tearful Emi walking in my direction. "Joey!" She gasped grabbing hold of me. I felt my knees go weak and fortunately she was able to grab me. "What are you doing?"

"Going home," I cried. " I don't know what's happening, I'm so confused what just happened."

"Shhh shhh, what happened?" Emi cooed rubbing my back.

"K-Kaiba," I muttered. "I just want to go home."

Emi sat me down on the nearby bench and said she'll go call Yugi to come pick me up. I sat with my head in my hands, if this is employee benefits I don't think I want a part of it. What's happened to Kaiba and why me? Why kiss me? The mutt he makes fun of all the time.
