Finally the time came. I was stepping into my car to go to my date with Joey.

Wait is it a date? I'm not too sure. All I really understand is that I'm nervous beyond belief. The fact that he said yes is even more impressive.

I reached the restaurant in les then 10 minutes and outside found Joey waiting for me. He was dressed smartly, more then likely Yugi had helped him.

I walked by and was tempted to lean in an kiss his cheek but had to restrain myself. "You look nice this evening," I complimented. This is what dates do right?

"Thanks," Joey murmured with a blush.

"Shall we go in?" I asked opening the door for him. Joey walked in his held still slightly down with what I assume is embarrassment.

After the waitress showed us to our private booth I ordered a bottle of white wine for us to share and for the chef to prepare a small appetiser. 

"It's a nice restaurant," Joey complimented taking a sip of the wine.

"I come here regularly," I said. "They also tend to deliver to the office or home when I'm too busy to leave."

"I see," Joey said sounding surprised. "When do you have a day off?"

I had to think, I didn't know the answer to that. "I suppose today really," I said leaning back. "This is the most free time I've had the past year. I even remember working Christmas Day."

"That's no good," Joey protested. "You need to take time out more. It might be why you're so stressed and look older then you actually are."

"You know how to charm people, huh?"

"Yeah which reminds me I want to ask you why you kissed me." The question was one I was waiting for and really didn't want to answer.

I took a deep breathe before I started to explain the weird dreams, the feelings I'd been having and well how I found him cute. Like a lost puppy dog and not a mutt. "I can't explain why this is happening," I sighed taking a sip of wine but I was wondering if you would like to date for a while?"

Joey's face dropped. He clearly wasn't expecting that question. "Well, I never thought I would be in this position," he blushed. "But I'm not against the idea. I guess it's something worth trying." I was shocked. He agreed to give things a shot. "If it doesn't work out though, I don't want my job to be affected in anyway."

"Reasonable offer," I shrugged taking his hand. "But I'm hoping things will work out if I'm honest."

"Look Kaiba."

"Seto."

"Seto, I don't want to make any promises but this restaurant is a good start so yes, I will date you."
