I've been having this ringing in my ears for a long while now but it's recently gotten a lot worse. I've been noticing it a lot more recently. Just a constant high pitched ringing at the back of my mind and whether I realize it or not, I'm constantly hearing it. Sometimes it's painful.

Mama is playing really old songs we used to listen to in the car.
I miss those days. I don't even remember how it would be when we would do that. It makes me think of New Years when I was younger. My two siblings, mom, dad, and I would all get in the car and drive somewhere, maybe to my brother's house to set off fireworks or to a family friend to have a barbeque. We would all laugh and sing oldies together. Dad would be drunk of course and something would always go wrong eventually but we enjoyed it while we could.
I'm not too sure why I'm thinking about this now. I haven't slept at all. Maybe I'll try to sleep now.
