What happened to you? I telepathically asked.
Oh, not much, can't you tell Fallen? Crunchy said, as a weird type of noise somewhere between choking and scoffing came out of her snout. (Probably a laugh)
Wow, and of course you're sarcastic. I said as I stroked her snout.
I finally stepped away from her, and focused on her body as a whole.
She had beautiful obsidian wings that looked slightly thick so that they wouldn't snap if any sort of pressure came to be. Her claws were like long sharp talon, and her feet were a bit small, considering she only came a little past my head. As I walked around her absorbing every little detail about her, I suddenly heard footfalls that were coming towards me.
Then, suddenly, they stopped.
I turned around so fast, my ponytail slapped me in the face. For, there, standing right behind me was non other than Raydien.
"Woah." I heard his sharp intake of breath. "What is it?" He muttered out loud in awe.
Excuse him, I am not an it! Fallen, kick his moronic little butt and skin him alive so that I may always laugh at his skin! I groaned, as her voice was so loud, it was nearly tearing apart my head because of her volume.
I repeated the message to Raydien who looked horrified.
"And this is your horse?" He trailed off.
"Yes, this is my horse..."
"You two are the perfect match." He said, while looking a little horrified. "My apologies Crunchy, I didn't know you could change shapes." Raydien commented, as he looked down at Crunchy with a slightly awe full look upon his face.
Ok, he's off the hook. As her voice floated into my head, Raydien looked like someone had just told him Creek died.
"Did she.. just.... talk?!" Raydien exclaimed as he backed up a few paces.
"Maybe." I said, as I failed to keep myself from snickering.
He looks scared, do you want me to help?
Sure Crunchy. I communicated while smiling.
When I finished my thought, Crunchy sprang forward towards Raydien like a giant dog. When she was right in front of his face, she jumped up and down, and started running around him like a hyper dog. The whole time this was happening, my face was hurting since I was smiling so big.
"FALLEN! Get this thing away from me!" I sighed. It looked as if Raydien finally reached his max today.
Crunchy, stop terrorizing him. He is still in shock, and you're making it worse.
I'm sorry. When I looked up, Crunchy had stopped and was perched in front of me. I just wanted to help. She trailed off, as she tilted her head to the side. I internally squealed at how adorable she was being.
Why is your face like that? I guess my squeal came out on my face.
I'm sorry, you don't understand how adorable you look right now. I voiced, with a big grin on my face.
"Hey!! What the hell is that?!" I turned around so fast, I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash.
The voice came off somewhere to my left. As my eyes met the guards, I immediately knew what was happening.
My brain was going into overdrive as I let out a shrill whistle. Immediately Creek came charging out near the stables, and right into my outstretched hand. As I stroked his muzzle, I spoke to Crunchy.
We've got to get out of here. What I was thinking, was riding you. I want you to pick up Creek, and I'll take care of Raydien. Can you do that girl?
I'll do my best Fallen. Crunchy replied, with a quick bow of her head.
"RAYDIEN!! We need to get out of here!" I shouted.
"Ok." Said a voice right beside me. "What do you need me to do?"
"I need you to get on top of Crunchy when I say so, and most importantly, trust me. Can you do that?"'
"I think so Fallen."
"Ok then, let's go. Game on."
As the guards came rushing out to intercept us, Crunchy took flight with Creek clutched in her feet, and Raydien and I on her back.
