Whatever floats your boat.

..

"So that's that about the story. It's just two young adults looking for that thing in life that drives the both of them. You know when you ask yourself what makes you who you are and what will make you who you will be. Everyone asks that question at one point or the other in life so it's realistic that they ask themselves when they are seniors in high school."

Candy just nodded as Andre made his summary of their project.

"Now we just have to act it out." Candy said. The hatred for acting dripped from her voice. Andre noticed and said,

"You know it's literature , not drama class. Its just unfortunate for you that drama is a part of literature."

"Unfortunate for me?" Candy asked like a sarcastic girlfriend.

"Well yeah. Pretty much."

"Whatever floats your boat."

"So," Andre began like a gossip. "Wanna tell me 'bout that hot guy at your fingertips?" He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"What hot guy? You know I have lots of them at my fingertips."

"Umm.... Um.. What's that name again?.... Yeah! Tristan!"

"Oh. What about him?"

"Well you seem to have him wrapped around your little finger, don't ya?"

Candy just looked up at him, not knowing how to reply. She never thought anyone would ask her that question. That was the reason why she steered clear off minions in the first place.

Minions were a plague. Their reputations had a say in your reputation. They messed up, people looked at you like you did the messing up. They always acted dumb. Always at your command and never arguing. Minions felt like babies. Babies couldn't complain or argue. They could only cry.
She put her mind back on the topic of Tristan.

"Well we are just buddies you know."

Andre starred  at her as if she was joking. That was the first time he would here a girl call herself buddies with someone. The common thing was 'girlfriend'.

"Buddies?" He asked as he chuckled, his voice sounding a little higher than the normal.

"Yeah. Something funny?" Candy asked as she raised an eye brow.

Andre burst into laughter. Not because of what she said , but how she said it. It was like she didn't know how strange it sounded for a girl to say she was a guy's buddy.

"What?" She asked with wide green eyes.

Andre coughed and said, "Nothing, 'buddy'."

"Aw. Don't be that way now nerd."

"Okay ma'am. Now can we order something. I'm starving to get something in my system. Caffeine, chocolate, cream, sugar, anything."

"Somebody's hungry."

"Yeah. Really hungry." Andre added with a knowing smirk.

"Could you be a bit more specific so I can order for you?"

"Well I'm hungry for two things." Andre said as his hazel eyes darkened. "A milkshake and some pleasure."

Candy chuckled and said, "Pleasure."

Andre said, "I believe you can give it. How about we drink, then go get some pleasure?" He was smirking and he was making her blush.

Just then, a waitress came to take their order. They both ordered milkshakes.

Just then Candy remembered.

I'm not what you think I am.

"Andre?"

Andre looked up and took off his glasses.

"Uhun?"

"What did you mean today in the  janitor's closet?"

Andre remembered.

He gave the glasses that he took off earlier to her and gestured for her to wear them.

Just then, their order came. The lady in her maybe late twenties smiled at them.

Candy wore the glasses ans took them off almost immediately.  She realised that they were not medicated.

"What the?"

"That's right lolly."
