Nine Flowers

Chapter Twelve

You watched in horror as Rose no longer reseblved a human, save for what was left of her original body hanging off the back of the monster in front of you and Helena now.

"Move!" Helena yelled and you both ran down the path as Rose shot the black webbing drom her throat. It flew up and covered your previous standing place completely. It grew like roots over the wall and floor but disnt chase you.

Helena fired off a few shots but the bounced off the casing that now surrounded Roses' mutated body.

The monster screeched up at you and suddenly ran forward, smashing into one of the metal supports holding up the Cat-walk. It shook violently and the support bent just enough that their portion of the walk caved in and you both fell. You turned in the air, your hand reaching up for Leon's hanging form.

"Leon!!"

Leon blinked suddnely. A small ringing had suddenly started in the back of his head and he had to shake it away, bringing a hand up to cup his forehead. "What the.."

"Leon!" Sherry called. "Do you want to help me and Claire make dinner?"

"Dinner?" When leon glanced to one of the windows he noticed it was suddenly night time. But he could have sworn it was morning just a few moments ago.

"Yeah, Ada invited everyone to stay! Its so rare we see each other anyway."

Claires head appeared from the kitchen. "Come on Leon, we got a lot of stuff to cook!"

The blonde slowly stood up from his chair and walked around the crowd to get to his kitchen. It was very big and expensive looking; Sherry was chopping something up while Claire brought a pot of water to the stove.

"What are we cooking?" He asked.

Sherry smiles at him. "Whatever you can find!"

He slowly moved to the fridge and opened it up, pulling some meat and vegetables out and placing them on the counter where Sherry snatched them up happily. "So Sherry... What do you do?"

She beamed at him, so happy he asked. "I'm a student at Harvard! I met Jake there."

"Ah.. And claire?"

"I recently graduated from my college. I start an internship with a fancy company soon." She didn't turn to look at him.

"What company?"

She replied but her voice sounded far away that he didn't hear her. He brushed it off anyway and pulled spices from a cabinate. "Thats good."

"Yeah I'm hoping to get a nice job!"

Leon closed the cabinate but froze when he suddenly had a woman standing next to him, he nearly dropped the spices. She had (h/l) (h/c) hair and (e/c) eyes. She wore a white and pink dress and a Lily in her hair. Leon glanced to the other girls but they took no notice of her- even as Claire walked right by to grab one of the bottles in his hand.

"Leon!!"

The woman suddenly screamed in his face and stumbled back into the counter, dropping what was in his hands and stumbling to the floor. Glass and herbs shattered over the floor as Leon hit the ground.

"Woah!" Claire jumped as he hit the floor and Sherry moved away sk glass didnt hit her.

"Everyone ok?!" Piers suddenly came in, hearing the shouting and broken glass. "What happened?"

Sherry pointed at Leon who was still sitting on the floor, breathing quickly. "Leon just suddenly fell down!"

The younger man came over, avoiding glass, and put a hand on the blondes shoulder. "Are you ok?"
