"I honestly don't know what happened!" You said, gripping a water bottle Leon had found for you. "I got a headache last night and passed out... And..."
"And what?" The blonde pressed, sitting in a chair across from you. You glanced to him wondering if it was ok to mention the strange dead bird and flowers nailed to your door. You decided against it.
"I can't remember... Maybe the doctor did something to me?"
"Maybe..." Leon stood up and checked the bullets in his gun. "Alright, here is what we are going to do."
You stood up from your seat and listened intently.
"You must stay as close to me as you can. As far as I know most of the island has gone to shit- and I haven't found out why yet. I was actually hoping to prevent this..." You looked surprised. Did he know this was going to happen? "I have my partner somewhere else on the island. We meet up with her first- then we go and get to the doctor."
"But what if he's dead!" You said urgently. No one could survive long without proper protection on this island now, it could be very possible that they would get to the infirmary to late and he'd already be turned.
"If he is responsible for this like we think, then trust me- hes alive."
You seemed incredulous but nodded your head anyway. You were just glad to have Leon by your side. Now that you think about it, who exactly was Leon? Last time you talked to blue eyed man it was at the tiki bar and he seemed like a bit of a flirt. But now he was a walking badass with guns and balls of steal.
"Uh, who are you?" You asked as you both left the resturaunt slowly.
"I already told you my name." He chuckled softly and glanced at you.
"Well... Where do you come from?"
"Was born in a city next to Racoon."
You frowned at that. "Oh.... I'm sorry." He had to have been involved in the incident. No way he wasn't if he was in the area.
"Its in the past." He said, confirming your suspicion.
"Your good with a gun..." You pointed out. As if on cue Leon shot down a few zombies in their path.
"I've had practice."
"Where did you learn to shoot?"
Leon stopped walking and looked at you. "Please don't ask questions. Its best that you don't know about me, and that we get you home as soo. As possible."
You deflated sadly, very disapoined. Did you upset him? You just wanted to get to know him a little better, but you guess he didn't want that.
Suddenly a ringtone started to go off and Leon pulled a phone from his pocket. "This is Leon."
"Leon! It's hunnigan, I just spoke with Helena, she's heading for a place called Rosey Corner?"
"Rosey corner?" Leon repeated.
You coughed softly. "Its uh... A party place on the island. Like a bar and dance floor and stuff."
"Leon who is that? Did you find a civilian?"
"I did, I plan to. Take her with me."
"Your such a hero."
Leon chuckled bitterly. "I wish that were true..." He then looked at you, blue eyes bore into your (e/c) ones. "Can you take me to this club, Rosey corner? Do you know how to get there?"
You quickly nodded your head. "Yes! It's just over that way." You pointed over where a town like area was. "This island has its own little tourist town, not just the resort. You'll find it there."
Leon nodded. "Alright hunnigan I'll meet up with Helena there."
"Travel safe Leon!"
And with that Leon ended the call and put the phone away. "Alright. Lead the way, (y/n.)"
You fidgeted with your dress. "It's a bit of a journey on foot... Most people would drive to it."
"Then we better get going." And with that Leon turned around and started walking away in the direction you pointed.
You sighed and scurried after him. It was going to be a very long walk.

The club was dark as a woman moved to and from the dance floor. A dark red dress clung to her frame and elegant brown waves of hair fell around her shoulder, her hair covered one green eye as she over looked the currently empty club. A smirk played at her lips as she sat down in a fancy chair that was placed where the DJ normally would have been. With a wave of her hand the lights flicked on and the dance floor light up in multiple colors.
"My little sister is coming..." She spoke softly and bit one finger eagerly. With the lights on figures and shadows could be seen shuffling around the edges of the room. Out of the many of them though, a few stood tall. Not hunched over or groaning like the others.
"Please..." The woman whispered, crossing her legs. "Go play with her... But don't kill her... We must gather our siblings alive..."
There was a small whoosh and the tall figures were gone.
The woman giggled to herself. "Camelia will be so happy..."

You were glad to have the sandals now instead of some heels, the walk was so long and your feet were hurting. You didn't really have a right to complain though sense Leon was the one doing all the work. Using his gun to keep any zombiesva good distance away, he could drop them in just one hit.
You really wanted to ask more about him, even if you knew he was probably going to just shoot you down. You opened your mouth to ask a question but something grabbed your ankle and you froze. Looking down your eyes landed on an arm that had a strong grip on your leg.
"U-uh Leon!" You called to him. He dropped another Zombie and looked to you.
You both looked at the arm that refused to let you go. It looked normal up until the elbow where it was coming from the dirt road. You tugger on it and the arm only clung harder, you wondered if it was attached tk anything under all that dirt.
"Hold still..." Leon took his gun and aimed carefully at the base of the arm, so he didn't wound you.
You looked away and covered your face. It would be a lie if you said you weren't scared to see what happened. The gun fired and you flinched at the loud noise you weren't used to yet, you didn't know how leon could deal with that.
With a splatter of blood and a muffled wailing the hand released its grip and flailed on the ground, now unattached.
"Uhg-! Thats disgusting!" You cringed as you kicked it away quickly. Suddenly you got yanked back by the arm.
"Look out!!"
Leon pulled you away just in time as a loud ululating echoed in the air and very large toned man landed where you used to stand. You stared dumb struck at him and clung to Leon who was pushing you behind him.
The man stood up and stared down at you and the blonde. Leon was pretty tall in your opinion, almost 6 feet if you had to guess. But this new guy before you- taller. A lot taller. Nott o mention ripped. He wore only some tribal armor like clothing that showed his arms and chest. His skin was a silky gray and his eyes white with no pupils- a sign of him being a zombie was various wounds he had that should have been fatal. He reminded you of african tribesmen a little, but more zombie-ish.
His muscles rippled as he started to walk towards you. Leon began shooting at him but all the bullets did was pierce his chest and thats it. The man kept coming. You saw the ground behind him buckle and explode upwards as a woman in similar clothing crawl from spit where the arm had come out, she was missing her left arm.
The man reached behind him and pulled an axe off of his back. It was very large, a two handed axe, it looked like it was made one large stone and decorated in teeth of various animals or even people.
Leon cursed and started backing up. "(Y/n) you need to run!"
"I'm not running alone!" You shot back at him then grabbed his hand and bolted.
The two people let out a war cry and began their hunt.
