Trisha took in her appearance once again, and loved the way that the dress that Mrs. Angeline made for her looked on her body. The woman could make a potato sack look stunning on any woman. The evening gown was more than what Trisha could have imagined. Even when she tried it at the shop it didn't look as beautiful as it did once her hair and makeup was done. Trisha slid her hands over the emerald green fabric, and loved the way that it felt on her skin. The off the shoulder dress made her feel regal, and she couldn't stop spinning as she watched the skirt of the dress flair out.

Running her hands over the bodice of the dress, Trisha adored the way that the gathered effect on the dress cinched in her waist. Her long hair fell past her shoulders in straight uniformity, instead of its normally curly pattern. She paired her dress with beautiful jewelry that was picked out by Augustine, and slide her black pumps up over her feet. As she grabbed her clutch, she could hear the doorbell buzzing. After taking in her appearance one last time, she smoothed out any stray hairs, and made her way to the door. Trisha was nervous for Augustine to see her. She didn't know why she wanted his approval so badly.

After a few seconds, Trisha calmed her rapidly beating heart, and swung the door open. Trisha blushed as she heard a gasp escape for Augustine. He stood there taking in her appearance, causing Trisha to blush. Augustine held his hand out, and Trisha took it quickly. Before they walked out of the condo, Augustine spun her around to take in her entire look. As their eyes met again, Augustine boldly stated, "I knew that you would look beautiful, but I was expecting you to look this good."
"Thank you. You look handsome yourself," Trisha said smoothing out the lapels on his black tuxedo.

A grin spread across Augustine's face, and it caused Trisha to smile in response. Augustine had a beautiful smile, with even more beautiful dimples to go along with them. Trisha found herself unable to turn away from his lovely face. Soon she allowed her eyes to travel over the rest of his body to take in his appearance. Trisha loved how his velvet black tuxedo jacket felt under her touch. She ran her hands up and down his arm, causing Augustine to chuckle. She quickly dropped her hands to her sides. He laughed even harder at her embarrassment, before grabbing her hand and leading them out of the building.

Trisha paused as they exited the building, and he led her to a black car parked by the curb. It was a luxury vehicle; Trisha knew that much. She lightly ran her fingers over the surface of the sleek piece of machinery. Augustine stood back, and watched her admire the car. He knew that when he picked a car to drive for the occasion she would love the Maybach. As he walked around to the passenger side, he opened the door for her. She smiled as she entered the car, and uttered a soft thank you. Before closing the door, he made sure that all of her dress was inside of the car. He quickly trotted around to the driver's side, and brought the car to life.

The sound of the engine firing up, causing Trisha to smile. She ran her hands over the all black interior of the car. It was a very luxurious car, and Trisha loved everything about it. Except for the obvious price point of it. They soon pulled off from the curb, making their way to the event hall. Soft sounds of jazz filled the car, and Trisha listen to Augustine hum lowly to the music. She had never seen him so relax. He didn't seem to have a car in the world, and Trisha found herself relaxing peacefully alongside of him.

The ride to the venue was quiet, but it was very comfortable. The beautiful music, plus the beautiful woman that sat in Augustine's passenger seat, put him into a better mood. No matter how much he tried to only think about Trisha in a professional manner, he found it harder and harder to do. She was beautiful, smart, and most of all caring. He loved how she wasn't like most girls who were only about money. He knew that Trisha loved her job, and that she didn't want a man to take care of her. She was a go-getter. Trisha made sure that he invested his money wisely, and made sure that no one was ripping him off. She was able to lift cares from him that he thought would permanently damage his career. Trisha was a dime a dozen and he wasn't sure of what he should do about that.

As they pulled up to the venue, the fluttering sounds of cameras drowned out the sounds of the soft jazz music that filled the car. Augustine could feel Trisha stiffen at the sudden attention. He patted her hand gently, letting her know that everything was going to be fine. Reluctantly Trisha nodded before he stepped out of the car. Taking deep breaths, Trisha calmed herself. Soon the door flew open, and the gust of wind sent a chill over her body. She softly trembled before regaining her composure. Taking Augustine's outstretched hand, Trisha stepped out of the car.

Plastering on a fake smile, Trisha move alongside Augustine. He moved with grace, stopping to speak to some reporters, and posed for photos. Trisha soon found that she like the fluttering cameras that she hoped would take beautiful photos of the two of them. As they neared the entrance, one reporter stopped Augustine, and asked, "Mr. Ramirez, we see that your ex-wife arrived earlier on the arm of your former business partner. Care to give us a word?"
"I wish the two of them all the happiness. There is no bad blood on my behalf. You can't continue to live in the pass, you might miss something right in front of you," Augustine said looking at Trisha with a smile. The reporter turned to Trisha, and asked, "And who might I ask is this lovely young woman?"
"Trisha Lawler."
"And who are you wearing tonight?"
"It's an Angeline Ross original."
"We'll it definitely looks stunning on you. Any words concerning the new pair?"
"I do not believe it is any of my concern, though I do wish everyone happiness in whatever they choose to do," Trisha said before turning away with Augustine. As he led her to the ballroom, he stated, "Handled like a true boss."
