Smiles radiated through the office, as the workers watched Augustine walked through hand in hand with his daughter. Isabella skipped as they made their way to the elevator. Everyone loved when his daughter came by the office, because their hard boss turned into mush whenever she was around. Augustine smiled as Isabella went on about her day. He watched the spark in her eye as she talked about how she hand the day off from school, because she went to the dentist. He smiled at her enthusiam, but his small instantly fell as he heard the voice of his ex-wife. Clearing the look of disgust from his face, he turned to the woman he once loved.

(Sofia)

Sofia was a beautiful woman

Sofia was a beautiful woman. She had hazel green eyes that captured him the moment he saw her. They put him into a trance, and they were always one thing that he would always love about her. Her long black hair was curled around her face, and landed just below her hips. Her royal blue jumpsuit and black blazer fitted her body perfectly. She paired the outfit with a pair of black strappy hair. Her fashion sense was always impeccable. Sofia always took pride in her appearance, and made sure to never have a hair out of place.

Clearing her throat, Sofia squared her shoulders and said, "Hello August."

"Sofia."

"Is that all you have to say to me?"

"What would you like me to say? Hello woman who threw our entire marriage away for my best friend?" Does that sound about right?"

"Always so bitter my love. I'm sure you'll understand my reasonings soon. You never see the big picture of things."

"And what picture would that be?"

"To hurt you like you hurt me."

"What the hell are you talking about. I've never stepped out on our marriage," Augustine said defensively. Sofia sucked her teeth, and turned on her heels. His good mood was instantly faltered, and no longer wanted to be around her. He started to turn around until he felt a tug on his hand.

Looking down at Isabella, who was holding a doll in her hand, she looked up at him with gleaming eyes. She loved her dad. No matter how much he fussed with her mom, she knew that her dad loved her. She pulled his hand towards the elevator, and pushed the button on the wall. They waited at the doors patiently for them to open. Seconds later the elevator dinged, and the silver doors slid open. Without looking Isabella ran into the elevator, collading into the legs of Trisha.

A squeal slipped from Trisha lip, before it was replaced by a soft chuckle. Isabella whispered an apology before stepping aside. Trisha bent down, and said, "I believe you dropped this beautiful little dolly." Isabella smiled and thanked Trisha before taking it from her hands. She hugged the doll close to her chest, causing a nig smile to spread across her face. Sofia rolled her eyes saying, "If you don't mind we're trying to go to lunch." Standing up straight, Trisha looked Sofia in the eye, and furrowed her eyebrows. Her face went blank as she saw Sofia place her hand on Augustine's shoulder. Trisha nodded her head, and stepped out of the elevator.

As the elevator descended to the fourth floor where all the restuarants were, Augustine couldn't help but to think about the look of shock on Trisha's face as she saw him with Sofia. He didn't understand why she was so bothered by them together. What he didn't understand the most was why he cared what she thought. She was just another woman that worked for him. He was broken from his thoughts by the ding of the elevator. Sofia was looking over at him with a questioning look, but he ignored it pulling Isabella from the elevator.

As they stepped out of the elevator, they did their ritual, letting Isabella pick whereever she wanted to eat. She stood at the entrance way, and looked across the space that was lined with several places to eat. Isabella patted her finger against her thumb as she was thinking. Augustine chuckled at his daughter, and loved how she always took her time every single time they went to lunch together. Sofia was uninterested as she typed away on her phone. Shaking his head, Augustine gave his attention back to the person who truly mattered.

Taking off into a sprint, Isabella picked a restuarant in the middle called, Agatha's Eatery. As they walked into the establishment, they were greeted by hostess who quickly showed them to a table as she took a look at his face. She sat them at his personal table. Augustine pulled out the chair for his daughter, and helped her up into her seat. She sat her doll in the space next to her. Sitting next to her, he smiled at how big she had grown. He could still remember when she had to sit in a highchair to be able to reach the table.

Augustine looked at the figure to his left, and looked at her weirdly. Sofia stood there with her arms folded across her chest. Her large purse rested on her purse as she tapped her heels on the floor. She moved her eyes to the chair in front of her, and back at Augustine. He chuckled to himself, and turned back to his daughter. When he was with Sofia, he would treat her like a queen, but she was far from a queen. She wanted August to pull the chair out for him like he used to do, but those days were long gone.

Growing tired of waiting, Sofia pulled the chair out, and plopped down in it. She looked over at her ex-husband and daughter, and thought about how things used to be. She hated how August always tried to play innocent like he never did anything bad to her. He had stepped out on her with his assistant, and he thought that she didn't know. She hated how he made it seem like sleeping with Dillion was wrong, when he was the one who was unfaithful first. Sofia smiled at the fact that even when augustine tried to be rid of her, he could never be fully rid of her. She would always be around, and she would get her August back if it was the last thing that she would ever do.
