The Dangerous Adventure[DISCONTINUED]

Chapter 1~Intro

It was a long day for Alex Danvers.She attended school,got tons of homework and had a crappy headache.So far her day wasn't  going so well.Alex lay on her bed exhausted from the day when she heard her phone ring.
Who would call me now?
Alex reached out to her bedside table and picked up her new iPhone 8.On the phone displayed the name Kara,her best friend since kindergarten.She was pretty exhausted but she decided to pick up anyways.
"What's up?" Alex said groggily.
"You sound really tired."Kara noticed.
"Yeah,we had tons of homework today"Alex said.
"Oh,sorry if I bothered you."Kara said.
"No,it's okay I just finished."Alex said.
"Okay then, I was going to tell you that me and Jason arranged to meet up at the park tomorrow after school. We were wondering if you were coming to join us?"Kara said hoping that Alex would come.
"Yeah,sure I'll be there."Alex said
"Bye."Kara said
"Bye"Alex said.
Alex hung up the call and looked at the clock 11:30.Shoot,time to sleep.
Alex pulled herself out of bed,went to the washroom to take a shower brush her teeth and changed into her amazing pajama's with stars on them.She snuggled into her bed and quickly fell asleep.

Alex awoke to the sound of her alarm clock going off.She reached out and pressed the off button.She flung off the sheets and got dressed for school.
She went downstairs to eat breakfast,her mom was making delicious pancakes for her.
"Oh,you're up"She said.
Her mom put the pancakes in a plate and put it on the table in front of Alex.
"Do we have any more maple syrup?"Alex asks.
Alex's mom pulled maple syrup out of the cupboards and gave it to Alex.Alex pits the maple syrup on her pancakes and begins eating them.
"Hey mom,can I go to the park to meet my friends Kara and Jason?"Alex asks remembering what Kara told her last night.
"Sure,but remember to come back before dinner."She says.
"I will"Alex says.
Alex grabbed her backpack and put her hat in backwards and headed to school.When Alex was outside she pulled out her phone and texted Kara.
Alex🙂:Meet at your house?
Alex began walking and waiting for Kara to respond to her text.
Kara😎:Sure see you there.I invited Jason too.
Alex:Okay.
Oh,no Jason is gonna be there.Okay relax relax, don't act weird.
Flashback
It was the first day of school,Alex was nervous because it was the first day and she didn't have many friends besides Kara.Alex was trying to find Kara among the tons of people.She soon recognized a familiar face.
"Hey,you nervous?"Kara asks.
"Yeah,you?"Alex says nervously.
"Not really there's not really anything to worry about."She says.
*Bell rings*
"Alright see you in class"Kara says leaving.
Alex pushes open the front doors of the school and soon began the look for her class,she went though a lot of classrooms and soon found her classroom.She saw Kara and sat beside her.A boy with black cropped hair came in and sat beside Alex.
Oh my god,he is so hot
Kara tapped Alex's shoulder.
"Stop starring at him"Kara informs.
"Sorry,I can't help it.He's just so hot"Alex says in a whisper.
After,the teacher arrived and they began class.
"Open your English books and flip to Page 112"the teacher says.
Soon enough the boring class was over and it was lunch time.
At the cafeteria Alex and Kara lined up in line to get there food when the boy came in the cafeteria.
"Oh my gosh, you have a crush on Jason!"Kara exclaims only loud enough for Alex to hear.
"Shhh, and his name is Jason?" Alex says.
"Yeah,he's like really popular and luckily one of my friends" Kara states.
"Wouldn't that technically make you popular too?" Alex asks.
"True"Kara says.
They got their lunch trays and sat down at a table.Kara waved Jason over to sit at our table. I punched Kara on the arm.
"Hey what was that for?"She says acting like she didn't know anything.
"Oh,c'mon you know I have a crush on him"Alex says.
"So,he's my friend"Kara says.
Jason came and sat down on their other side of the table.
"Hey."he says.
"Uh...hi I'm Alex nice to meet you"Alex says
"Yeah,here's my best friend I was talking about Alex."Kara says.
Alex heard a ding on her phone,she fetch it out of her pocket and read the notification:One new text from Kara.
She opened the text.
Kara😎:Stop acting so weird and stop hesitating act like he's a normal person.
Alex🙂:Okay, I'll try.
"So any clubs you're in?"Alex asks.
"Oh,I'm on the football team."Jason says.
"Cool,what position?"Kara asks.
"You know what position I play Kara."Jason says.
"Yeah I don't remember something like halfback?"Kara says trying to annoy Jason.
"You mean quarterback?"Alex says.
"Yeah, right! Wait, how do you know?"Jason says.
"My dad watches football and sometimes I watch too it's not that boring."Alex says.
"Nice!"Jason says before giving Alex a high five.
End of flashback
Alex arrived at Kara's house and rang the doorbell.Kara soon answered the door.
"Come in"She says.
"Did Jason arrive yet?"I ask.
"Not yet, he should be arriving in a few minutes."Kara replies
The doorbell rang again.
"That should be him."Kara says.
"I'll get it."Alex said since she was closer to the door. Alex opens the door the reveal Jason with his black hair and wearing a T-shirt and some shorts.
"Hey."Alex says.
"Hey."Jason says.
"Guys,we better get going or else we're gonna be late"Kara sates.
Typical Kara
"Alright,go grab your stuff we'll wait for you outside."Alex says before opening the door and going outside.
Alex and Jason stood on the sidewalk waiting for Kara to come out with her stuff.
"So,um how's football practice going?"Alex asks trying to breaker the silence.
"It's going okay I guess, we got a game on Friday."Jason replies.
"Oh,cool do they welcome visitors?"Alex says since she wanted to go.
"Yeah,why?"Jason asks.
"I was wondering if Kara and I could come."Alex says.
At this point, Kara comes out with all of her stuff and they began walking to school since it wasn't really far away from Kara's house.
"Did you hear that we're having a assembly today?"Kara says wondering if we knew.
"Really?About what?"Alex asks.
"I heard something about our 25th anniversary."Kara said.
"We have anniversaries?"Jason says having no idea.
"Dunno,at least we get to skip English today."Kara says.
We arrived at school just before the bell rang and headed toward home room.
Kara and I sat next to each other and was talking about the assembly before class started.
"As some of you may know, we have a assembly celebrating our 25th anniversary."Mr.Wood says.
"When is the assembly?"a kid asks.
"The assembly will we between period 3-4.Any other questions?"Mr.Wood says.
No one asked any more questions.
"Alright,let's take up the homework I gave you yesterday."Mr.Wood says.
Kara and I both take out our finished homework and put it on our desks while Mr.Wood was checking to see who completed their homework and who didn't.When he came to me he took the sheets and flipped them making sure I had completed every single page.
"Good job,Alex"He says after putting my sheet back down and started checking Jason's homework.
"Wow,that homework was pretty hard."Jason says to me.
"Not really,just a lot of questions."I say back.
Mr.Wood had finished checking our homework and began today's lesson.
"Okay,class today we will be doing a partner project."Mr.Wood says.
Everybody started swarming for a parter and I immediately looked at Kara.But I saw in Jason's eyes that he was hoping I'd pick him.I was stumped.Now, I have to choose between Kara and Jason,to be honest I had no idea who to pick and my time was almost done.I turned to Kara.
"We've done a lot of projects together,I was hoping to do this one with Jason."Alex says.
"Oh,sure I'll find some else wouldn't want to be in the way of working with your crush."Kara teases.
"Kara"Alex glared at her.
"Okay,sorry"Kara says apologizes.
I walk over to Jason's desk and I can already see that he had a smile on his face.
"Sorry if I caused trouble back there."He says.
"Nah,she understood plus I wanted to try with somebody new."Alex said.
"Cool."He said.
"Everyone please return to your desks."Mr.Wood says.
Everyone quickly returned to their desks.
"This project is in partners because it has two parts.Each of you will do one part,I will let you decide between you and your partner.The first part is the research,one of you will be researching a country of your choice and finding as much information on it as possible.The other one will be making a poster and putting the information on and drawing a few pictures."Mr.Wood explains.
I turned to Jason.I knew he was going to tell me to do the research since he had football practices these past few days.
"Do you mind doing the research? Just send it to me and I'll work on the poster."Jason says.
I wasn't really sure if Jason was a good drawer but I agreed anyways.
"Fine,I'll send it to you as soon as I'm done. Also,which country are we doing?"Alex says.
"Japan?"Jason asks.
"Definitely not Japan.Maybe China?"I say almost immediately.
"Woah,what's your grudge against Japan?"Jason asks noticing.
"It's just Chinese people hate Japanese people because they killed a lot of Chinese people."Alex says.
"Oh,I didn't know"Jason says.
"It's okay." Alex says.
"Alright,let's do China then!"Jason says exited.
"You're never exited to do a project."Alex says.
"It's who you do the project with."He says smiling at me.
Alex forgot just how much she missed that smile of his.But what he said what did that mean?Could he possibly like her too?
"Alright,we'll start working on it tomorrow and update each other tomorrow too."Alex said.
"Whatever you say."Jason said.
The bell rang and it was time for Alex's 1st period Math
Ugh,I hate math and the teacher.
She slowly made her way to math class and sat down.Kara came in after.
"Hey,who did you get as your partner?"Alex says curious.
"This girl called Melody."Kara responds.
"Isn't she a nerd or something?"
Kara looked at me like I offended her or something.
"What?"I ask not knowing what I did
"That's rude."She simply said.
We were interrupted by the teacher.
"Class,today we will be doing one step variables.Does anybody know what a one step variable is?" Ms.Dumb ask the
class.(That wasn't her actual name but she was really dumb).
Melody raised her hand.
"Yes,Kelley"Ms.Dumb said.
"It's Melody and a one step variable is when there's a variable in the equation representing a number."She said like she memorized it.
"See,told you."Alex whispers to Kara.
Kara looked at me with a angry face.
"Good, now I'm gonna put up some questions and I'll select a few of you to answer them." Ms.Dumb said.
She started putting questions on the board.
I mean how are we supposed to solve them if you can't solve them yourself?
  "Alright, Kelley, Kira, Madison."Ms.Dumb said.
C'mon at least get our names right.
Melody,Kara and May went up to the board and began answering the questions.
*Time skip to Lunch*
It was lunchtime.Alex put all my stuff inside my locker and began heading to the cafeteria when Alex bumped into Jason
"Oh,hey."He said.
"How was gym class?"Alex asks knowing he always had gym before lunch on day 3's.
"Meh.. it was okay we played some football outside."He said sounding happy.
"Wanna head to the cafeteria together? Kara won't be there since she has a meeting she has to attend."I say.
"Sure."He said.
We made way to the cafeteria and sat down.Before we knew it the bell rang for 4th periods but we had a assembly so Jason and I made our way to the gym.The gym was packed with teacher and students and the principal was standing in front of the gym.
"Alright, as you know it's our 25th anniversary and today I would like to celebrate... blah blah blah."
I stopped listening at zoned out.
Alex woke up to the sound of somebody shaking my shoulder really hard.Alex opened her eyes to see Kara.
"Ow.That hurts you know."I say.
"Sorry,you won't wake up so I shook harder."Kara says.
"Where's Jason?"Alex asks.
"Did somebody call my name.?"Jason says popping his head out in front of Kara.
Wow,that was a really weird daydream.
"That concludes our assembly please look to your teacher for further instruction."The MC's said.
  At the end of school,I started walking to the park near our school until I got a phone call from Kara
   "Come to my house now"Kara says.
