Chapter 9~Master Class?

"This is our stop."Albert says coming back from the washroom.Alex put her switch away(yes,the normal way) and got her suitcase and we all did the same thing.We got off the train and we were at this big castle that had a giant sign on it saying Jewel Academy.
"This is Jewel Academy."Albert introduces.

We entered Jewel Academy.It looked really big and had four floors,there were a lot of doors probably leading to classes and Albert leaded us to the main area or what they call the Grand Hall.It resembled Hogwarts a lot expect that they didn't have houses,you could sit wherever you wanted too.We sat down at one of the tables and Albert started talking.
"Welcome back to Jewel Academy.Some of you may be returning while some of you just arrived.I will introducing the new students.May you take the stage?"Albert says to everyone in the room.
Jason,Alex and Kara stood up and walked onto the stage.
"May I present to you, Alex a magic student that is very advanced at her powers.Kara a alien who has flying abilities and super strength and just began using her powers and Jason who has fire powers  and also just began using them."Albert says introducing the each of us.
We sat back down and Albert continued talking.
"For those of you who are returning,you will know where you're classes are.I will lead the new ones to their classes."Albert says and everyone begins to leave.
Albert walks over to us and motions us to follow him.Albert leads us to the second floor and stops at a door labeled Alien Powers Level 1.
"Kara,this is your classroom.You class will begin in a few moments."Albert says gesturing Kara to go inside.
Kara goes inside the classroom and waves us a quick goodbye.Albert then goes further down the hall and stops at the door labeled Meta-Human Level 1.
"This is your class,Jason."Albert says.
Jason went in and Alex was the only one left.Albert was walking forever until he reached a door called "Advanced Magic only for Magic Masters."
"This is your class,Alex your class doesn't start until a hour."Albert says and was about to leave until stopped by Alex.
"May I ask why it says only for Magic Masters? I'm just a beginner."Alex questions.
"You don't know how much potential you have,Alex."Albert responds and then goes down the stairs.
Alex went down the stairs and was rooming around into she bumped into someone.
"Sorry."She said and then looks up to see a boy looking at her.
"It's okay,and may I ask who are you?"The boy asks.
"I'm Alex and I'm new here,Albert put me in a advanced class for Magic Masters but I have no idea why."
"No way! Nobody has ever made it to that level!"The boy says shocked.
Alex was quite confused.What did he mean nobody else made it to that level?
"What do you mean?"Alex asks confused.
"I mean no anybody in this Academy has attended that class!"The boy responds.
"So I'm the only one in that class?"Alex asks.
"Yes, and if you're in that class you're a master and could potentially teach one specific student!"The boy exclaims exited.
"Sorry I haven't properly introduced myself,I'm Jake and I have speed powers.But the thing with the student is that it must be in your general area like for you it's magic and my speed would not fit in that area."Jake explains.
Alex was disappointed.She was really hoping that she could teach Jason so she could spend more time with him but guess she would have to figure out a different way.
"Anyways,thanks."Alex says before heading to her class.
Alex made way to her class and saw that the teacher was already there.
"Alex before we start,I need to say that nobody has ever reached this level.I need to make sure you're ready so I will be giving you a test."the teacher says and then turns around.
"Albert?"Alex says.
"The test will now begin."Albert says.
Soon enough,Alex woke up in a testing chamber.
"You must get out of this room without accessing your magic powers.When your powers abandon you,you must find a way to do something without them.Good luck,Alex you will need it." The voice says.
Alex was left alone in the chamber,she tried to use her powers but unfortunately it didn't work she didn't have her powers in this universe.
"Great."Alex says.
Alex starts looking around the room for anything that could possibly open the door.She looked around and saw nothing but a bookshelf and a table.Alex decided to go to the bookshelf cause sometimes if you pull a certain book in the bookshelf you can unlock a secret area.Alex pulled all of the books until she got to the last one and the bookshelf turned and it was the next room.It looked like the next level.
"Congratulations,on completing the first level this is the second stage you must choose between your two friends Jason and Kara.Choose wisely."The voice says.
Alex looked at one corner of the room and saw her best friend Kara and some robot holding a green knife,Alex knew that it had to be kryptonite seeing the fact that she was really weak but on the other side,there was Jason the boy of her dreams and was fighting somebody and seemed to be losing and needed help.Alex knew this was going to be hard but she would eventually have to choose one of them.She thought for a long time and decided that she would help Kara because she had faith that Jason could make it.She rushed to help Kara.
"Thank,god you're here."Kara says in between her breaths.
Alex could tell that the kryptonite was really hurting her.
"I'm always here when you need me."Alex says before throwing the kryptonite knife out of the guys hand.
Kara slowly began to gain more energy and stood up and punched the guy in the face hard and knocked him out.
Alex looked at the other side of the room and saw that Jason was beating the heck out of the guy .Alex knew that Jason could do it,that just made her like him even more.
"You have picked the right choice,class dismissed."The voice says and soon enough she was back in her classroom.
Alex opened the door and saw that Kara's and Jason's classes and walked over.
"Your class is done at the same time as mine."Alex pointed out.
"Class was so lame."Kara said.
"What!? You always enjoy classes."Alex said surprised.
"It's so hard."Kara admits looking at the floor.
"Don't worry,it may be hard in the start but you'll get better and it won't be so hard."Alex says trying to reassure her friend.
"I hope you're right."Kara says then walks over to the eating area.
Jason soon saw Alex and came over.
"What's wrong with Kara? She seems upset."Jason says.
"Don't ask,you'll make her more upset.I've taken care of her."Alex says.
"Okay then."He says before making way to the eating area too.
Alex follows him to the eating area and sat beside her two friends.
"Guys,I need to tell you something that happened during my lesson."Alex says acting serious all of a sudden.
Jason and Kara stayed quiet waiting for Alex to continue.
"I was in a room and I had to decide to help one of you."Alex says.
Kara and Jason's face showed no emotion at all but she could tell that they wanted her to continue.
"Well,on one side there was Kara with a guy armed with Kryptonite and Jason who was fighting someone and was losing."Alex says
"Who did you help?"They both say at the same time.
"I thought about it and ended up choosing to help Kara because she seemed really weak and I knew deep down that Jason could beat the bad guy ."Alex says and takes a deep breath after.
Kara and Jason didn't say anything and they were probably wrapping their heads around this.
"So,you decided to help me?"Kara asks as though she didn't understand.
"Yes."Alex confirms.
"At least you had faith in me."Jason says before leaving.
Alex immediately felt bad for choosing Kara.
"Hey,its okay he'll forgive you.Plus,he likes you."Kara says.
Kara used her hands to cover her mouth realizing what she just said.
"What?"Alex says with a shocked expression.
