Chapter 5~Alien?

                                                                               Oh,Kara is a alien?"Jason asks.
                                                         "Apparently,guess she wanted it to be a secret."Alex guessed.

One of the doctors came by that was in Kara's surgery.
"How's she doing?"Alex asked.
"We'll see, we are trying our best to save your friend.She has a lot of bleeding in her stomach."The doctor infromes them.
The doctor left and went back to surgery.
"Do you think she's going to be okay?"Alex asks Jason.
"She has to be.She's strong, I know she'll make it."Jason say confidently.
"I hope your right."Alex says.
"I should call Kara's mom."Jason says.
Jason went over to a private area and called Kara's mom.
"Hi,is this Mrs.Lane?"Jason says into the phone.
"Yes,who is this?"the other end says.
"This is Jason Kara's friend,She's been in a accident. We're at the hospital."Jason says.
"I'm on my way."Mrs.Lane says.
Jason comes back and sits down beside Alex.
"She told me she's on her way."Jason says.
"She must be really worried."Alex says.
A few seconds later,Mrs.Lane came rushing inside and found Jason and Alex in the waiting room.
"Where is she?"Mrs.Lane demands.
"She's in surgery, we've waited for about 2 hours."Alex says.
"Oh."She simply says and sits down.
A few more hours passed by and the doctor that was doing the surgery came out.
"How is she?Is she okay? Did they surgery go well?"Mrs.Lane blurted.
"She's fine and she's in recovery and the surgery went well.You can visit her now."The doctor says.
The doctor leaded them to the recovering room Kara was in.She was awake.
"Alex!Jason! Mom?"Kara says.
"Oh honey, thank god you're okay.I was so worried."Mrs.Lane says.
"Sweetie, I gotta go. You're friends will stay here with you."Mrs Lane says and then kissed Kara on the cheek.
She soon left the room.
"Sorry about that, my mom is quite protective of me."Kara says.
"You feeling alright?"Jason asks.
"Yeah,my stomach just hurts a little."Kara admits.
Alex and Jason glanced at each other and wondered if they should ask or not.They decided it was best to ask.
"So um, I was talking to Jason and he said that he saw a glowing green substance.From what I know it's designed to kill aliens like SuperGirl. Would you care to explain that to us?"Alex says slowly.
Kara took a deep breath before she started speaking.
"Yeah,it's true.I'm a alien and I come from the planet Krypton. My mom is SuperGirl but Mrs.Lane takes care of me mostly because my mom is busy fighting aliens."Kara says looking up to see the reactions on her friends faces.
Alex wasn't that surprised because she always found something weird about Kara.Kara was those weird kids that liked doing weird things so that all explains that.Jason on the other hand was quite shocked that Kara was a alien.How come he never knew or suspected anything?
"Wait a second,did you just say that SuperGirl is your mom?"Alex asks suddenly.
"Yeah."Kara says in a low voice.
"Who's your dad then?"Jason asks.
"I don't know, never met him before."Kara says.
"How come you never told us? We're your friends we support you no matter what."Jason says.
"I didn't want you guys to think I'm weird and then stop being my friends."Kara admits.
"We'll always be your friends,and I also suspected that you were different."Alex says with a smile on her face.
"What!? How?"Kara asks.
"Instincts."Alex replies with a shrug.
"The doctor said I'll be out of here in no time."Kara says.
The doctor came in.
"Somebody's here to see you."The doctor says.
