(This chapter will be in third person, no POVs)
The ambulance arrives as Becca is crying and trying hopelessly to revive Dan. The paramedics sprint over to Dan. They had to practically drag her away from him, they put him in a stretcher and took him in.
Becca hops into the back with them.
One of them started asking her about what happened, what his name was, and if they should contact Dan's family. Becca's heart drops. She remembers Phil. She starts crying even harder.
Phil doesn't know anything yet.
"Male. Late 20's. Car accident. There are signs of multiple internal bleedings, we're going to need an empty ER immediately," one of them says to a radio that is connected to the hospital.
Two other paramedics are giving him CPR to try to revive him. Becca is confused as to what is happening, she can't think straight.
"Sir," the one who was asking her questions tapped her shoulder. "I'm going to need to know your name and how you're related to the patient," he says,
"Becca- .. I mean.. Ph-," she feels as if the words got stuck in her throat, "Phil. Phil Lester. I'm his boyfriend," she lies.
The others are surrounding Dan, with all these weird medical equipment that Becca doesn't understand.
"Is he going to be okay?" She asks the questions guy, "we'll try everything we can to save him," he answered.
They arrive at the hospital and they rush Dan in, Becca is running after them, but they stop her right before they enter the ER. They tell her that she has to wait there for the surgery to be over.
She listens and sits down, but she has to tell Janice and Phil, she runs over to the reception and asks her if she can use the phone, the receptionist hands it to her.
She puts in Janice's number.
Meanwhile
Back at Janice's, Phil's asleep on the couch and Janice is in her office when she hears her phone ringing.
"Hello," she answers.
"Janice.." Becca cries.
"Becca, darling, hey. What's going on?"
"Where's Phil?"
"He's asleep, what's wrong? You sound horrible."
"D-Dan.. Dan is hurt, pretty bad."
Janice starts panicking,
"What? How? What happened?"
"He got hit by a car," Becca contains her tears.
Janice's heart drops.
"Oh, my god, is he okay?"
"He's in surgery right now,"
"Oh, my god how did this happen? Phil is going to be so devastated, he had hours left for the body swap now his boyfriend is in surgery?" Janice's voice breaks,
