Tyler's pov

His blue dress fit his curves perfectly. His eyes sparkled. His hair looked so soft. His everything looked amazing.

Ethan walked over to me he looked down the entire time. As he played with the hem of his dress he took quick glances at me. The way he did it made him look so innocent and cute.

"Y-You look h-hands-ome." He complemented me.

"Thank you. You look absolutely stunning." I smiled down at him. A light blush appeared on his face.

"You have fun you two!" His mother yelled.

"Don't worry, we will!" I said with a slight smile. Ethan and I walked out and headed to my car. Ethan kelp looking at his feet and he held himself.

"Are you ok?" I asked with a hint of worry in my voice.

"I'm fine." He whispered.

"Are you sure? You've barely looked up and your whispering a lot. You can tell me if something is wrong." I said giving him a small smile.

"I'm fine... Just a little nervous. That's all." He muttered as he started to look up at me more.

"Don't be. Everything will be fine."

"Ok. Thank you for taking me..." he smiled while looking up at me with his bright blue eyes.

"It's my pleasure." We walked to passenger side of my car and I opened the door for him. He giggled a little as he got in the car.

The car ride was silent for the most part. I found it cute that Ethan stole glances at me once in a while. When we got to the school I parked the car and got out and Ethan did the same.

We could hear music going through out the doors of the gymnasium. It the doors there was a table with some girls handing out tickets.

As we walked up I got out four dollars and handed it to the girl.

"Here ya go cutie." The blond girl that handed me the tickets winked at me.

"Thanks." I said walking in with Ethan behind me. I took a quick glance behind me to see Ethan looking upset. When we got passed the crowd of people that were talking by the front, I found a empty circle table that we could sit at.

"What's wrong?" I asked as we sat down across from each other.

"I'm just feeling a little insecure." Ethan said, but it sounded like a whisper with the loud music playing.

"Don't feel that way. Your the most gorgeous person in this entire school." I smiled.

"No I'm not, but thanks for trying to make me feel better." He gave me a sad smile back.

"It's true. Your like a rose in a field of dandelions." I expressed. The room was dim, but I was sure I could see him blushing. Ethan then didn't look me in the eye, but he was smiling. He was smiling like crazy, it was adorable.

I looked around our surroundings I saw Jack and Signe by the snacks and drinks. Jack had a mouth full of cookies and Signe was laughing at his silliness. Ken and Mary were in the corner of the dance floor dancing together. Finally not too far away I saw Mark and Amy both talking.

Then out of no where a slow song started to play. I got up and walked around the table to him.

"May I have this dance?" I asked as I put my hand out for him to grab. Thankfully he did grab it, or that would have been pretty awkward. I pulled him towards the dance floor with multiple people dancing to the slow song. Once we got there I placed my hands on his waist and his on my shoulders. Ethan's glowing blue eyes starred into mine. Our bodies moved in sink to the calm music as it flowed. It felt like we were the only two people in the universe. Like nothing could touch us. The moment was sweet and unfortunately short.
