Chatper 12

Ethan's pov

Lilly went up to her room after a while. Tyler and I were just talking and enjoying each other's company.

I learned that Tyler's mom and dad are both lawyers, he's an only child, and he's been friends with Mark since they were 12.

"So, Tyler, do you have any hobbies?" I asked. Great conversation starter, Ethan. Your such an idiot.

"I like to play video games and write." Tyler said.

"Really? What do you write about?" I asked with curiosity in my voice.

"You know some times stories or something like that." Tyler said like it was nothing. In all honesty I always admired people that could make stories in their head.

I love that people can create entire worlds, situations, and what the characters go through. Then there's almost always a happy ending. I wish my life was more like a story or a fan fiction.

After that we kelp talking. Tyler said that he wants to be an author when he get older. We kelp talking about our futures, hopes and dreams.

"Geez it's 8 already. I better get home." Tyler said standing up. I began to feel sad and a little upset.

"Do you have to you?" I pouted and got up with him. He chuckled at me then messed up my hair like I was a little kid. Usually I would get angry from people touching my hair, but Tyler's touch felt nice. It gave me a warm happy feeling inside.

"Don't worry blue boy, I'll see you at school tomorrow." Tyler smiled, a real smile. Not a grin or a smirk, but a smile. I don't know what happened for me to say this, but I asked.

"Can I have a hug?" Tyler's face became a light pink color, while he nodded his head yes. Tyler when wrapped his strong arms around my tiny frame. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he hugged me tighter. I felt him hide his face in the crook of my neck.

I could stay here forever, in Tyler's arms. It feels so natural to be around him. I feel so safe around Tyler, I've never felt that away around anyone else. Besides mom and Lilly of course.

We both pulled away. My face felt like it was on fire from hugging him. He, too, had some blush on his face.

"I'll see you at school... Ethy." Tyler smirked as he walked toward the door. He waved goodbye before leaving me alone in the living room.

"Ethy has a crush!!!" I heard from
behind me. I practically spun around to see Lilly standing on the lest step of the stairs. I blushed a bright red color.

"No I don't!!" I yelled back at her, but she only got into a laughing fit. I was red with embarrassment by now.

"Yus yooou doo Ethy! You look-t at him not like any-vne else!" She giggled. I rolled my eyes at her and tried to ignore what she said.

"S-So, Lil, what do you want for dinner?" I asked changing the subject. Lilly thought for a moment before yelling.

"Ramen oodles!"

"You mean Ramen noodles?" I asked with a chuckle.

"That's what I said!" Lilly said as we both walked to the kitchen. I rolled my eyes playfully as I got out the stuff we needed.

I woke up to my alarm going off. I groaned got up for school. Then I started to get dressed. I put on a red long sleeved shirt, pants and black shoes with white laces. I grabbed my book bag that was next to my bedroom door.

When I ran downstairs I saw mom and Lilly eating cereal in the living room. Mom noticed me and smiled.

"Good morning Ethan. What do you want to eat?" She asked standing up to get me some food.

"I'm not hungry." I said. Mom turned and looked at me with concern.

"Ethan are we going to go through this... again?" Mom asked worried. I chuckled.

"I had a big dinner last night mom. I ate 3 bowls of Ramen noodles. Right Lilly?" I asked her. She saw that my eyes were screaming "say yes!". Lilly nodded and continued eating her food.

"Ok..." mom said hesitantly. I hated lying to my mom, but if I told her the truth she wouldn't believe me. I'm just not hungry. I haven't felt hungry in a couple days now that I think about it.

Last night I only ate a quarter of my food and Lilly ate the rest. Mom doesn't need to worry about me.
I'm fine.
