Chapter 6

Sorry I have to publish and unpublish this chapter. It only shows half of the chapter when I post it.

Ethan's pov

It was the end of the school day, I had my book back with me and all my stuff for home. As I walked out of the building with the rest of the kids I got a text from mom.

M: Sorry hun, but I have to stay a little later at work. I need you to walk over to your sisters school and walk with her home. I'm sorry Ethan. I'll be home as soon as I can.

Me: It's ok mom! I'll walk with Lilly home.

M: Thanks hun. I love you!

Me: Love ya too!

I then put my phone in my pocket and walked the detection Lilly's elementary school was at. The two school were only about three blocks apart so it wasn't that bad. Then something hit me. That was the first time in a while I didn't get picked on... I thought to myself. With this new discovery I smiled all the way while walking down the block.

Cars passed me on the road not caring about me until one black car pulled up and the window rolled down. The driver revealed to be Mark.

"Hey Ethan! Need a ride?" He asked with a smile.

"No, but thank you." I smile back at him.

"Come on Ethan! It'll be fun!" I heard a voice that sounded like Seàn.

"Yeah!" I heard another person yell. It sounded like Felix.

"Sorry guys I have to get my little sis from her school." I said again. I was about to walk off when I heard.

"Come on Eth there's plenty of room and Well pick up your sis from her school and bring you two home." Mark said. I hesitated at first, but it would be quicker than walking.

"Are you sire it wouldn't be any trouble?" I asked just to make sure.

"Of course!" Mark said with a smile. The back passenger seat opened up and I walked over to it. Felix opened the door for me form the inside of the car. I hopped in and shut the door.

"Thanks guys." I said with a smile.

"No problem Ethan. What school does you sister go to?" He asked as he pulled off into the road.

"She goes to Oak Elementary School." I said. The car speeded up I could hear the wind blowing passed as other cars drove by.

"How old is your sis?" Felix asked turning to me in his seat.

"Oh she's only six years old." I said to Felix.

"What's her name?" Mark asked still looking at the road.

"Her name is Lilly." I said. Felix was about to say something until I realized that we were at Lilly's school already. A line of cars was gathered out side. We wanted to avoid the mile line of cars, so Mark went into the parking lot instead.

"I'll go get Lilly. I'll be right back." I said cheerfully as I got out of the vehicle. I carefully passed the line of cars with tired, annoyed parents in them. When I passed the cars, and got onto the side walk, I could see that they had all the kids lined up near the front doors in there grades. When I got closer I tried to look for my energetic little sis.

"Ethy!!" I hear a familiar little voice yell from the crowed of kids. I then saw Lilly run as fast as her little legs could carry her. When she finally got to me she  wrapped her arms around me for a hug. The impact of her running into a hug made me make an ufff sound, and stumble back a little.

"I missed you Ethy!" Lilly said as he burrowed her head into my stomach. I chuckled and hugged her back.

"I missed you too. Now come on let's go." I said. She let go of me and grabbed my right hand. I walked her all the way to Mark's car and opened the back door for her to get in. She looked at me with hesitant eyes. When I smiled at her I could tell she then trusted me. Lilly hopped into the car and I got in with her.

Mark and Jack were looking back at us to see what Lilly looked like. Felix had a big grin on his face like he was about to die.

"She so adorable!" Felix screeched, which sounded like a girl. Lilly looked at me then back to Felix.

"Ethy why does he have a girl voice?" Lilly asked in a whisper, but every one could hear her. Mark and Jack burst out into laughter while Felix crossed his arms in anger. While I covered my mouth to spot me from laughing. After the laughter died down Lilly looked at us really confused.

"Lilly these are my friends Felix, Mark and Jack." I said pointing to them went I said their name.

"Nice to me you." Lilly said politely.

"Oh! Now she's polite!" Felix said jokingly. Lilly started laughing her little head off.

"She's so cute." I heard Jack mutter.

"Let's get you two home."  Mark said as he put the car in reverse.
