Chapter 31 : Zaira On Danger

It was summer once again, and everyday it gets busy in the station. Min Hyuk won on their case. But even  though, having evidences on my case it's just don't feel like winning.

I enter the station, out of my thoughts. I just couldn't stop thinking about what could happen in the future? Misoo and Subin are in Oxford to study and i feel like going there because i miss them. Seohyeon and SeoYun are at my grandparent's house. I also miss them.

I sigh,as i sat on my table. "Detective, you okay?"asked Lieutenant Park. "Hu-h? Ye-yeah."What is wrong with me?

"Boss, When are we going to show up? I'm sick and tired of waiting."Says My servant.

"Soon. I'm just waiting for the time for us to show up. Once and for all, i will defeat Min Hyuk for what he had done to me back on highschool."I said.

"Who are we going to abduct? or kill?He asked. I grin as i look at him,"His wife. His sexy and lovely wife, Seul Mi."I said, evily grinning at myself.

"Your gonna kill his wife?"He asked, I chuckled. "No you duck head! I'm gonna take his wife from him."I said.

|Min Hyuk's Pov|

2weeks, i have been recieving unknown texts. A text that threatens me — which terrifys me when it mention about my family.

Is this a new fight? A new villain? Or perhaps someone i know who is coming back for revenge? I felt scared. I felt terrified that i couldn't protect my family due to these cases i'm handling. I sigh. I wish i could protect them.

But even me ,myself. I'm scared. I'm weak. I couldn't do anything for Seul Mi, for the kids. I shout in anger and in disgrace of myself.

"What kind of man am i?!","I promised to the Lord that i will protect my family even if i have to sacrifice my life."Tears slowly dripped down my face

"But why am i weak?"I cupped my face with my hand as i cry. Tell me i'm gay, but you don't know the feeling of your loved ones being in danger.  Being in a total danger that you couldn't protect.

If you know, then you will understand what i'm feeling right now.

I sigh.

"Laywer Lee!"That i heard my name being called. I spun around and Prosecutor Hwang calling me. "Oh Prosecutor Hwang. What can i do for you?"He grins.

He pats my back, jestting. "Ya~~~. There's nothing i want you to do for me. I just would ask about the evidence you have. Where did you get it?"He asked.

I had thought of why he's asking me about the evidence. I chuckled,"I have my instinct."He smile,"Ahh. Then i'm happy that you can defend your client. Goodluck!"He pats my back and left.

I was bit off minded these days. I don't what i'm thinking or yeah. I just feel absent minded. Then, all of a sudden my phone rang an unexpected caller.

"Hello?","Babe!".Upon hearing my wife's voice , i felt lifted. Lifted from my problems and back on my thoughts. I could hear her happy voice, i can see those wide smile plastered on her face. "Babe? Are you okay? Where are you?"I asked, as i make my way out.

"Babe I just miss you. Should we meet at home.? Are you busy?"I grin. I chuckled,"I miss you more than you miss me, Honey. Sure! I'm coming home now. Cook me some kimchi stew. I miss them!"I heard her chuckled. I felt so happy. Happy.

I hanged up, and enter my car. Before i could start the engine. I saw Prosecutor Hwang outside talking with a man wearing a black suit. They talk so seriously and suspicious?.

As they both enter the court, my mind is telling me something and it makes me suspicious. I slowly motion away and head home , shrugged what i just saw.

|Seul Mi's Pov|

I'm in the kitchen, happily cooking Kimchi Stew for my beloved husband. It's his favorite and i really wanted to make him this dish, if only i have time. Good thing, i was able to go home. I need to refreshen up and smell some good air and for a moment forget all my problems.

As i was stirring the soup , a beep of the car is what i heard from outside. I  got excited, so i step out of the front door and found my husband, parking the car in the garage. As he exit from his car, i gladly approached him.

I gave him a kiss,"Babe!Good thing your home. The stew is almost done."I happily announced. "Really? Wow! You must be really happy to be home."He jest. I chuckled,"Ofcourse. I miss being with you."He grins ,as he enters the house.

He walk over to the kitchen, and as he smells the stew , a wide smile was formed in his lips. I felt happy. "That's smells so good~. That's why i miss your dish babe."I chuckled. I placed the stew in a bowl, and prepare the rice and the fried kimchi and also some other common dishes.

"Eat many babe! I know you're hungry."I said,as i placed the dishes down on the table. "Surely i am!"He jest. He began to taste the stew, and i was nervous for a second.

"How is it?"I asked. He look at me — and smiled. "Delicious babe! Daebak! The best kimchi stew i ever had."I was so happy, that i began to feed him. He look at me and smiled.

While eating, he suddenly stops and look at me. "Babe?","Yes?". He looks so uneasy, by just observing him."Can you stay at home just for one night?"He asked. I was confused.

"Why? I still have work to do."I said,"Please babe! Sleep with me even just for one night."He begged. I felt so sad, knowing that he sleeps alone in the house.

I sigh,"Sure baby!"He lifted his head up and smiled. "Thank you baby!"I smiled at him.
