Chapter 17: Killer Frost

Scarlett-
It had been months since Cole freed Kara from Dylan. It was bad. Hayden and Troy were fighting the monsters while I watched over Kara.
  She hadn't moved since she went to sleep. I put my hand on her forehead, she was as cold as ice.
  I gasped, her skin was her normal peach-tan color, but it was cold to the touch. I looked at her vitals. They were steady. "Kara...what's happening." I asked holding her hand and forehead.
  Hayden and Troy got back talking and high fiving. "Get in here." I said.
  They stopped, looked at me and Kara, and ran in. They touched her and both of them shivered. "She's freezing, but...everything is stable." Troy said.
  The ends of her hair started to turn white. "What's happening?" I asked.
  "I don't know, this never happened to me." Luyu said.
  "Oh dear." Scout said.
  "What?" We all asked in sync.
  "Her magic allows her to heal by reconnecting the damaged tissue. She has been doing it since we laid her down." Scout said.
  "That explains her skin but not her hair." I said.
  "She has a painful past, and now with Cole gone it's even more painful. She's becoming what I saw in the future." Scout said.
  "Future?" We asked.
  Scout showed us and it was of Kara freezing everything. Her hair was all white, her eyes glowing ice blue, and she wore an ice blue strapless shirt, black skin tight pants, a black long sleeved trench coat, an ice blue belt, and ice blue boots. "She became a bad guy?" I asked.
  "Yes...but the gem is still connected to her which means there is still good inside her." Luyu said.
  Scout turned off the thing and we heard a gasp of cold air and it whispered: "Killer Frost." We looked at Kara, her eyes opened and ice burst all over the place. She stood up her eyes glowing ice blue, but only the bottom half of her hair was white.
  "Kara..." Troy started looking at her.
  "Kara is gone, but you're more than welcome to call me Killer Frost." She said in an echoey and eerie voice.
  We were all frozen to the wall. "Toodles." She said leaving.
  We couldn't break the ice. Hayden heated up his body with his magic and melted us all out. "What do we do?" Troy asked.
"We all know what she's capable of, and we can't stop her." Hayden said.
"Well we can't just let her run free." I said.
"Maybe what Scout saw isn't the future, only the bottom half of her hair was white." Hayden said.
"You have to capture her, it's the only choice we have." Luyu said.
We nodded and ran after her on the motorcycles.

Kara-
I was in all white clothes and looked in a clothes store. "Ooo, this has cute clothes. I said walking in.
The guy behind the counter pressed against it about to press the silent alarm. "I wouldn't do that if I was you, unless you want your hand froze and chopped off." I said. He put his hands up.
I used my ice magic to freeze him to the wall by his ankles and wrists. I froze the door shut and walked to the changing rooms I tried on a lot of stuff. "What about this one?" I asked looking at him.
He was trembling. "Uh..." he started.
"It makes my butt look big doesn't it? I'll try on something else." I said. I tried on outfit after outfit, after outfit. I found one and looked at it. "It's sexy, and it screams good girl gone bad." I said.
It was a string/torn tank top sleeved jean jacket, a black long sleeved crop top, the sleeves were stripped black and white, I put on the black leggings, put on the brown boo, put on the brown belt with a yellow belt buckle, and put on the blue jean skirt. I put a flower braid bun on my bangs and pinned it in the back leaving my hair down.
I smiled at the shop keeper, you've been good company I said freezing his mouth closed and putting cash on the counter.
I walked out of the shop and snapped my fingers encasing it in pure ice. "Have fun freezing to death." I said. As I walked people screamed and I laughed. "Oh...you three. I thought I left you to freeze." I said.
"Hayden has fire magic, you weren't going to keep us down long." Troy said.
"Oh...right." I said.
"Just let us take you back to the hideout, we can help you." Scarlett said. They walked towards me. I shot ice blasts at Troy and Hayden and put my hand on Scarlett's chest.
"Oh Scarlett, if only I wanted your help." I said slowly freezing her by her chest. She screamed and Hayden and Troy morphed. They came at me and I smiled. "Get them kitty kitty." I said making a giant tiger and it fought them.
"That's not a kitty!" Troy shouted.
I looked back at Scarlett, her lips were turning blue and her hair started getting little snowflakes in it.
I tossed her into a building and looked at the boys. Hayden came at me with fire. I dodged and put my lips on his kissing him and freezing him inside out.
Troy held him. "One little power ranger all by him lonesome. Killer Frost gave him a fight, and left him with a fright." I said twirling my hand making a snow stream. He pulled out his Shashka. I laughed. "Adorable." I said.
  He came at me and I kicked his ass. He de-morphed and flew back as I blasted him again. I put my hands on his head making ice stream. He started to scream. "Yeah, seeing your worst nightmare has that affect on people. Sweet nightmares." I said making an ice path that I rode on.
